A Difficult Announcement
It is with a heavy heart that I have to announce that Sven Sports Ltd has gone into liquidation.
This is not a decision I ever wanted to make. I have put an enormous amount of time, energy and passion into this business, and I’m incredibly proud of everything we achieved along the way — from the relationships we built to the numerous kits and products we were proud to supply.
Unfortunately, unforeseen circumstances led to a situation that was completely out of my control. We were left significantly out of pocket after placing orders for items that never arrived. Over the past few weeks, I have worked tirelessly to try and resolve these issues and find a way forward, but unfortunately, despite my best efforts, the situation could not be undone.
My biggest regret and the thing I am most sorry for is the customers and clubs who have been left with missing or unfulfilled orders.
I want to offer my sincere and heartfelt apology to every customer, club and individual who has been affected. It was never, at any point, my intention to let anyone down or leave a club without the items they were expecting. I completely understand the disappointment, frustration and inconvenience this situation has caused, and I am truly sorry.
Over the past two years, we successfully supplied many clubs across the country, and I am incredibly grateful to everyone who placed their trust in Sven Sports. That is why it is so difficult to know that, despite everything we tried to do to put things right, some customers have been affected at the end of this journey.
Please know that I have not taken this situation lightly. I have spent the past few weeks doing everything I possibly could to try and rectify the issues and fulfil outstanding orders. Unfortunately, we have reached a point where the company can no longer continue.
This is an extremely difficult and emotional time, but I felt it was important to be open and honest with everyone who has been part of the Sven Sports journey.
To those who have been affected by missing or unfulfilled orders, I am genuinely and deeply sorry. I understand that an apology does not undo the frustration or disappointment caused, but I want you to know that this was never the outcome I wanted, and I am truly sorry that it has come to this.
Thank you to everyone who supported Sven Sports Ltd over the past two years. Although this chapter is coming to an end, I will always be grateful for the experiences, relationships and memories that came from building the business.
