Developing the details with Connor ⚽️

Receiving isn’t just about the first touch, it’s about everything that happens before the ball arrives.

Great players constantly adjust their body shape, scan their surroundings, and move with purpose to create the best possible angle to receive. The intensity of that movement is what creates separation, buys time, and sets up the next action.

Train the details before the touch, and the game becomes easier with the ball.

Don’t be afraid to make mistakes in training or games. Every misplaced touch, poor body position, or missed opportunity is a chance to learn. Keep practicing, keep adjusting, and over time those mistakes become better habits
