We welcomed Dawlish Women Walking Football last night for a friendly (but competitive!) game of walking football. Always a fixture we look forward to - thank you for making the effort despite the weather and roadworks!

Looking forward to our (long awaited) game against the Dawlish Women Walking Football team this Sunday, and are proud to support their campaign for Parkinson's and Neuro Conditions Walking Football in Dawlish, as this is very close to home for our organisation as well - walking football, and exercise in general is so important as both a preventative and a rehabilitation method. We had the pleasure last night of hosting a friendly walking football match against our sponsors Bettesworths. A match that was enjoyed by all despite an age range that spanned over 60 years, it really is a sport that is accessible to all!

With 7 of our stroke team having had strokes, this can be such an important part of recovery and rehab (and the social side cannot be understated).

We welcome stroke survivors and their supporters every Tuesday at Torbay Leisure Centre, please contact us if you’re interested in joining us
