If you’ve been widowed and are looking for a friendly, understanding space where you can be yourself, we’d love to welcome you to our Radley group tomorrow.

What can you expect?

💚 A warm welcome from people who understand loss and life after bereavement.

💚 Informal conversation over a drink in a relaxed setting.

💚 No pressure to talk – some people share, some simply listen, and both are perfectly okay.

💚 A chance to connect with others who are navigating similar experiences.

💚 Support, friendship and understanding without judgement.

Many people tell us they were nervous about attending for the first time, but quickly realised they weren’t alone. Whether your loss was recent or many years ago, you are welcome.

You don’t need to book, and there is no charge to attend. Just come along as you are.

🌿 Widow Tree – June Update 🌿

June is shaping up to be a busy month for Widow Tree, with meetings, community events and opportunities to connect with others who understand the journey of loss.

📅 June Meetings

🌿 Radley Meeting
Thursday 4th June | 12:00pm – 1:30pm
📍 The Bowyer Arms, Radley

Our Radley group is a friendly and welcoming space for widows and widowers to meet others who understand. The venue is easy to reach by both train and bus, with ample parking available for those travelling by car.

🌿 Thame Meeting
Friday 12th June | 11:00am
📍 The Black Horse, Thame

⚠️ Please note: There will be no Benson meeting in June, but we are looking forward to returning in July on a new day:

This month Widow Tree will also be attending two fantastic local community events to help raise awareness of Widow Tree and raise funds to support our work:

Just checking in with anyone who may be finding this long bank holiday weekend difficult. 🤍

We know weekends like these can feel especially hard when you’re grieving the loss of your person — and May can feel even heavier with two bank holidays so close together.

While the world around you seems full of plans, family time and togetherness, grief often makes the absence feel even bigger.

If you’re struggling this weekend, please know you are not alone. Whether today feels quiet, overwhelming, emotional or simply exhausting, Widow Tree is thinking of you.

Take things gently. One hour at a time if needed. 🤍

💛 Widow Tree Benson Group – This Friday

Our Benson Widow Tree group meets this Friday at Benson House Care Home from 10:30am – 12:00pm.

A gentle, friendly space for anyone navigating the loss of a partner. Come for a chat, a coffee and the comfort of people who understand. There’s no pressure to talk — just being there is enough. 💛

We know Fridays don’t work for everyone, and we’re currently reviewing the best day/location for the group going forward.
