Why does CPD matter?

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) isn’t just about gaining certificates. It’s about staying open-minded, reflective, and committed to learning. When we continue to grow and improve, the horses benefit too 🐴

Within equine rehabilitation and sports therapy, knowledge, research, and best practices are always developing. CPD helps us stay informed, improve our skills, and provide the highest standard of care possible 😁

Thank you Wolds Equine Sports Massage Approved Courses for another interesting CPD this month 😊

• Back pain and muscle soreness
• Joint inflammation (arthritis/recent injury)
• Wound healing
• Poll and neck tension
• Post-competition recovery or pre-competition prep

A completely non invasive and a relaxing treatment that horses enjoy 💤

Processing is a natural response 💤

This is as the the nervous system and body begin to adjust to the changes made 🤍

Every horse processes differently, you may see:

- Licking & chewing
- Yawning
- Lowering the head
- Heavy blinking

Knowing when to step back and let the horse process can be an invaluable tool ✨
