Admission and Parking is FREE for these 2 events over the weekend 17th to 18th September 2022 at Bromley Indoor Bowls Centre which is located at Bodmin Close, Orpington, Kent, BR5 4LX (near Orpington Fire Station, just off Court Road / Orpington-by-pass).

Scottish International Open Qualifier, Saturday 17th September 2022 9:00am – 10:00pm
The first matches for this qualifier will start at 09:00 with a 1 hour 30 minute slot, next matches at 10:30 etc until the final at 8:30pm.
2 BIBC members and 3 members from other local clubs have entered - why not come and support them?
World Indoor Bowls Championship Qualifier, Sunday 18th September 2022 8:30am – 11:00pm
The first matches will start at 08:30 with a 1 hour 30 minute slot, next matches at 10:00 etc until the final at 9:30pm.
Last year's winner was Wayne Willgress who went on to reach the semi-final at Potters, losing the final end of a tie break to Paul Foster, who then lost in the final to Les Gillet in the final end of a tie break. Other local players have qualified for the finals at Potters, including Lee Harris who won the Men's Championship at BIBC in the 2021-22 season at our finals weekend in April. Nick Brett, the 2016 World Champion, played in the qualifier at BIBC in 2015.
