This weeks Sunday shout out goes to everyone that smashed their PB’s this week. There were quite a few at Bromley parkrun yesterday in particular PWR rising star Ian Matthews who began his PWR journey last year with the beginners course and over the past few months consistently PB’s at parkrun including this weekend where he went sub 25 for the first time. Also this week he had his first lead on a Tuesday night club run, well done Ian!

***Sunday Shout-out***
The club has had an outstanding day today at London ,Manchester and Blackpool marathons on a very warm day. We had pbs , silly costumes and amazing PWR support.
A special shout goes to Liz Squires, Jane Vasudevan,Sharon Wroe, Barbara Carr , Angela Mcckellan and Karen Clarke that did the virtual London Marathon it’s a tough task without all the crowds so well done ladies. The coffee morning ladies alone raised over £3k. Take a bow ladies.

It's one of those Sundays when the shout out has to be the PWR family collective. The organisers, photographers, Marshalls, cake bakers, fund raisers, supporters and oh err the runners 🙄 who made the members 10k so special.
What a fantastic team effort.

The Shout out out today has to go to the leaders (Richard, Anne, Hannah, Louis, Trevor, Alex and Karen) Hope I have not missed anybody? who gave up their Sunday morning to take you none of the long standing Club Train Runs. It's a big responsibility to make sure their group return safely to Petts wood and from the photos we've seen it looks like you all had a great Morning.

Sunday Shout out. A rest from racing this week (apart from Mr Bond in New York...Good Luck ) allows us to shout out Lou stocks for her 200th parkrun and Donna Moosh for her 150th. We believe came through the beginners course and we know that Donna is responsible for helping all our beginners at tge start of their running journeys .

The goalposts keep getting moved. I should already be out drinking my sales target bonus. The PW10K Race Director has already been down the back of the sofa, and has now been through all his old jeans and coat pockets. In amongst all the odd dog poo bags he's found the absolute last of the PW10K places. This is it. No more. There's nowhere else to look. And it's just as well, as the sales team is refusing to work into another weekend!
Race day: Sunday 13th October.

We have a large number of people in group 8 this evening so the group will be split with the leaders Lucy Tang and Andy Hall thanks Andy for stepping up to do this so we can keep the groups safe.
The booking sheet will be amended so if you are on reserve please put your name down in the second group.
If anyone fancies becoming a run leader please speak to Mike Reeves or the captains about signing up for the heavily subsidised Leadership In Running fitness course and then who knows a coach !
