Can you believe it ? … hard work and perseverance pays off !! Our turf reused/ relaid around the landscape of our track from Piccadilly Gardens has had its first cut 😎 Thanks to Community Payback who support and work alongside MaxTrax week in week out taking care of the park so it’s kept clean and tidy for our users. Thanks to all the support from Gary Lamb MCC, Ed MCC Parks, MaxTrax Volunteers, Local Residents and GMFire & Rescue Ashton & Gorton Stations for drowning the newly laid turf and saving it from dying over the extremely warm days we had a few weeks ago. Today It’s looking great, ready for our BIG event on 28th 😍 We just need those using the track not to be riding across it to help keep it from damage while it’s still rooting. The difference we’ve made to Delamere Park by building MaxTrax is incredible 🫶🏻

A huge thanks to TFGM & these two amazing Ride Coaches who came along to MaxTrax yesterday evening learning adults and young people age 12+ how to ride. Tuesday 23rd June is our next session which works on building confidence while riding. If that’s you then please do get in touch or turn up for 6pm. Bikes, helmets, a warm brew or cold drinks are available free of charge to participants 🚲
