No, protein alone does not make you gain weight or lose weight. Weight gain is the result of a positive energy balance. However, losing weight is a consequence of maintaining a negative caloric balance.

Therefore, body weight changes mainly depend on how many kilocalories we eat in relation to our energy demand and how much energy we expend in the form of physical activity. There are also other factors that influence caloric balance, such as health, physiological condition ,pregnancy or age.

Nearly 10 months ago, I welcomed my beautiful baby into the world. It’s been an incredible journey of love and growth, and amidst all the joy, I decided to embark on another important journey: my weight loss journey.

In January, I made a bold decision to undergo liposuction to kickstart my transformation. Since then, I’ve been training hard, working out 5 times a week, and diligently tracking my nutrition. I’m proud to share that I’ve lost 8kg!

This journey hasn’t been easy, but it’s been so worth it. Each workout, each healthy meal, and each small step forward has brought me closer to my goals. I’m feeling stronger, healthier, and more confident every day.

To all the new moms out there, remember: it’s okay to take time for yourself. Your health and well-being are just as important as those of your little one. Keep pushing, stay committed, and celebrate every victory, no matter how small.

Here’s to more progress, more strength, and a healthier future! 💪✨
