Older adults exercise & social group Over 70’s exercise and social group meeting weekly in Oldbury, Birmingham. We enjoy meeting socially outside of our regular sessions for outings too.

Our aims are to reduce isolation, build friendships, help maintain independence and reduce falls. We offer tailored, low impact exercise with the aim of improving strength, balance and mobility. We enjoy some refreshments and a chat after each session and meeting socially outside of our regular weekly session for nice walks or outings. We warmly welcome anybody interesting in joining our sessions.

-When: Friday at 1130am -1pm.
-What: 50/60 mins of gentle exercise & 20/30 mins to chat with a tea & cake !
-Where: Warley Baptist Church, Castle Rd E, Warley, Oldbury B68 9BJ
-Price: £20 per month

We use a really lovely, large hall and so have plenty of space to welcome new members safely. We have covid measures in place and there is plenty of room to socially distance. We provide members with their own set of resistance bands and hand weights free of charge to use in the sessions and at home if they wish! Members of the group with smart phones like to keep in touch with one another throughout the week in their WhatsApp group too :)
