Fantastic day at Aston le Walls last Friday for D’artagnan’s second novice .
It was so hot and he was amazing . Great dressage - moment of madness took a pole out SJ then phenomenal clear XC over a great testing track .
Left home at 6am and back at 1am
Huge thanks to Charlotte and Max , expert riding and grooming as always , managing to make it to the end of the day without melting. They are a superb team and always put horse welfare at the top of the priority list.

D’artagnan finally got a run today - double clear and excellent sub 30 dressage saw him finish in 4th at Bicton.
Even though he was obviously buzzing after his XC round , he was still happy to give his young friend a free lift back to the lorry park to save Will’s little legs

Lark hill yesterday - crikey it was cold , all seasons weather in the same day .
D’artagnan was epic - sadly he slipped between two elements of a jump and couldn’t jump the second part . 20 penalties but he jumped it second time and definitely not his fault . The rest of the course was a breeze thankfully

Fantastic day at Oxstalls yesterday . D’artagnans second outing of the year -he didn’t disappoint .
He is very jolly at the moment , spring has definitely sprung !
Slight braking issue meant he had one SJ down but the XC was a walk in the park .
Huge thanks to Charlotte and her team as always - he looks fabulous and fitter than ever

Some pre season show jumping at Bicton today . He was loving the outing ! Thanks to Charlotte and team for doing such a great job as always . Looking forward to a drier March and the start of the eventing season

This stallion is one in a million - passes trot up and jumps a lovely clear round in the SJ to finish 7th overall ,then while waiting for the prize giving he lets the birthday boy have a quick ride ! Wonderful temperament- great end to a brilliant weekend and season . Thanks to Charlotte Rowe for her excellent work and all of her team especially ‘Super Groom’ Max Forster. Ps before anyone shouts , William was being held very firmly by his dad on the other side of D’artagnan and was never at any risk 😊
