Lark hill yesterday - crikey it was cold , all seasons weather in the same day .
D’artagnan was epic - sadly he slipped between two elements of a jump and couldn’t jump the second part . 20 penalties but he jumped it second time and definitely not his fault . The rest of the course was a breeze thankfully

Fantastic day at Oxstalls yesterday . D’artagnans second outing of the year -he didn’t disappoint .
He is very jolly at the moment , spring has definitely sprung !
Slight braking issue meant he had one SJ down but the XC was a walk in the park .
Huge thanks to Charlotte and her team as always - he looks fabulous and fitter than ever

This stallion is one in a million - passes trot up and jumps a lovely clear round in the SJ to finish 7th overall ,then while waiting for the prize giving he lets the birthday boy have a quick ride ! Wonderful temperament- great end to a brilliant weekend and season . Thanks to Charlotte Rowe for her excellent work and all of her team especially ‘Super Groom’ Max Forster. Ps before anyone shouts , William was being held very firmly by his dad on the other side of D’artagnan and was never at any risk 😊

D’artagnan couldn’t believe that it was still dark when he arrived at the party this morning . His first 3DE long, including roads and tracks and steeplechase
He was quite jolly - I think he thought he was going hunting but couldn’t work out where the hounds had gone!
Excellent steeplechase and epic clear XC sees him in 8th before tomorrows show jumping 🤞

Hevans Take me with U was also at Gatcombe with her uncle.
She had an amazing day piloted by Max Forster . Double clear to end on her dressage score and finish 3rd. Delighted with them both. Boy this mare can jump !

Great day at Little Gatcombe yesterday . D’artagnan continued his great form with a sub 30 dressage , one pole and a superb Xc round to finish in 8th . Super proud of him

So pleased with him , loves his job, even when his XC round was during a thunderstorm - what a great horse .
