Hi everyone 😊

Just a wee update regarding the darts academy.

With Brian starting a new job, Tuesdays are proving a little difficult for him at the moment. Mark also has his new salon keeping him very busy, and Stan unfortunately can’t manage every week, so we’re finding ourselves a little short-handed just now.

Rather than struggle on and not be able to give the kids the nights they deserve, we’ve decided to put the darts on hold until after the October holidays. 🎯

This is only a short break to give everyone a chance to get settled and get a few things organised.

Once the October holidays are over, winter is here and the dark nights are in, we’ll be ready to get back at it full throttle! 💪🎯

We absolutely love seeing the kids playing, improving and enjoying their darts, and we’re really looking forward to getting everyone back together again.

Thanks so much for your understanding and for all the support you continue to give the academy. ❤️

🎯 ODDYA IS BACK! 🎯

After the summer break, we’re back in action on Tuesday 25th August, jumping straight into Night 8 of Season 4!

🏆 Champions League
🎯 Premier League

Then on Tuesday 1st September, JDC Routine Season 5 gets underway!

🌍 There’s plenty to play for this time around, with qualification places for TWO of our members at the Winmau World Masters in Aylesbury up for grabs across Seasons 5 & 6! 🏆

We will explain exactly how qualification will work very soon.

Looking forward to getting everyone back together, getting the darts flying again and seeing who’s been putting the practice in over the summer… 👀🤣🎯

Sorry to everyone who was planning to play, but we’ve also had quite a few messages from players unable to make it, so we’ve decided to call it off.

We’ll update the page soon with our plans for after the summer holidays.

Firstly, apologies for the delay in getting the updates out!

Over the last two weeks we’ve seen some fantastic darts, and in Week 7 we introduced a small format change. Following the success of the 33 Darts challenge, games now finish on a single number rather than the bullseye. The players have really got the feel for the format now, and it’s time to start finishing games a little closer to the real thing! 👏

The league table is starting to take shape now, with Ollie Carroll and Rachel Scott both racing up the standings. However, it is Lewis Aitken who continues to lead the way, topping his group regularly and collecting bonus points almost every week. Outstanding consistency from Lewis! 🔥

🎯 Lewis Aitken – Solid darts week after week and setting the standard at the top of the table.

🎯 Ollie Carroll – Really upping his game recently and picking up some vital bonus points.

This Tuesday sees Week 8, which will be our final night before the summer break. After that, we’ll return later in the year for Weeks 9 & 10, followed by Finals Night.

That gives everyone plenty of time to practice, improve, and come back ready to battle for medals, trophies, and league honours! 🏆🎯
