Back from a couple of very productive days at the first Offical British Superbike test at Donington Park on Friday & Saturday!
It was the first time the team had been together since our 3 day test at Calafat in Spain.
We spent the 2 days running through a lot of data and rider feedback, changing suspension settings, engine brake maps, testing different parts and generally turn all 3 bikes inside out and upside down!
After all of the discussion & changes we are pretty happy with where we ended up with all 3 bikes! (With the exception of Josh B who fell foul of storm Dave in the final session where a strong gust of wind took him off his Suzuki causing a bit of work for the boys back at the workshop this week)
JoshuaWilliams78Racing on the Teams Moto4 Honda finished the test in P11, a great step forward and a continuation of the progress seen at the final round of 2025 and the positive steps made with his crew in Spain! We're mega impressed with the mature way in which Josh works with his crew and we're super excited to see what Josh can do in 2026 when the shiny new race engine is fitted!
Ben Jolliffe Racing completed his second test on the Yamaha R7 with the team, again working with his Crew Chief David Askew and technician Joe Tyas, the team went through the setup methodically making a bag full of changes to the bike that left Spain, Ben rewarded all of the late night's, development and hard work that has gone into building a brand new bike into a brand new specification for a brand new class by finishing the test in P2!
Josh Bannister continued working on the setup of the teams Suzuki GSXR750 Supersport bike, Josh worked through a planned programme of testing with his Team Kev, Neal and Dan. Josh made great progress over the 2 days and feels confident going in to the next test at Oulton Park before heading to Round 1 at the beginning of May.
Unfortunately as mentioned previously Josh tipped off at Redgate in the final session, but rider is 100% thanks for his DRC Leathers and Bell Helmets.
Thanks to everyone that helped myself and Robert Broadbent bring this project together over the winter, a huge thanks to Clive Somerfield for spending many late nights in the workshop with me, I hugely appreciate it mate!
Here's a bit of a photo dump from the weekend!
