👏👏 Congratulations to club member Esme Hamilton on finishing 5th in the English women’s Open at Manchester Golf Club. Finishing with an impressive -5 for 4 rounds! Well done! 👏👏

We are delighted to share that Lauren Spray, Carol Wild and Laura Morris have qualified, and will represent Notts. Ladies Golf Club, at the English Women’s Club Championships which is to be held at St. Ives (Hants) GC on the 2nd and 3rd September, 2023.

The players achieved this by returning the three best gross scores in the County Spring Meeting and County Championship (morning round), which was the qualifying criteria applied by Notts. County Ladies’ Golf Association.

The English Women’s Club Championship is a new England Golf, 36 hole scratch competition played over two days, with the two best scores from each day counting. The winners will go through to a European final.

It is a great achievement for the individual players and for Notts. Ladies’ Golf Club to be involved in this inaugural event.

We will follow the progress of the event and update you as they go.

RESULTS OF 4BBB Ladies Open held on 26th May 2023

The sun was shining at Hollinwell for this Open Event which resulted in fantastic scores! ☀️☀️

Prize winners were:

🏆2nd:Marion Turnbull (Notts Ladies) & Ann Hunter (Wollaston) 46 points

🏆3rd: Sue Spencer (Whittington Heath) & Claire Howells ( Moor Hall) 46 points

🏆4th: Linda Steele & Jane Montgomery ( Staverton Park) 46 points
