Another brilliant Walk & Talk this week! 💚🥾

It was amazing to catch up with everyone after our incredible Norwich to Paris bike ride. We spent the evening laughing about all the madness from the journey, sharing stories behind the videos you’ve all been following, and reliving some of the unforgettable moments that made the challenge so special. 🚲🇫🇷

The weather was on our side once again, and it was fantastic to welcome some new faces along too. Every new person who joins us makes our community stronger, and we’re so grateful to see the brotherhood continuing to grow.

These evenings are about so much more than just a walk. They’re about creating a safe space where men can talk openly, build genuine friendships, support one another, and realise they don’t have to face life’s challenges alone. Sometimes the biggest step isn’t talking—it’s simply turning up. That’s exactly what this group is here for.

Mental health isn’t something we should only think about when we’re struggling. By getting outside, staying active, connecting with others, and checking in with one another regularly, we’re building resilience before life’s storms hit. Together we’re breaking down the stigma, one conversation at a time.

Thank you to everyone who came along. Whether it’s your first walk or your fiftieth, you’ll always have a place with us.
💚 Brotherhood. Support. Adventure. Purpose.
This is what Rise & Roam is all about.

They say it's the people you share a journey with that make it unforgettable... and looking back at these photos, we couldn't agree more. 💙🇫🇷

These are just some of the moments that made our time in Paris so special. After six days of cycling from Norwich to Paris on BMX bikes, we finally got to slow down, explore one of the world's most incredible cities together, laugh together, eat together, grab a few drinks, and simply enjoy being in each other's company.

In many ways, it felt like one big Rise & Roam Walk & Talk... just with the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe and the streets of Paris instead of Norwich. The conversations, the laughs, the support and the friendships were exactly what Rise & Roam is all about.

These moments are just as important as crossing the finish line.

A huge thank you has to go to Sarah. ❤️

After everything she'd already done behind the scenes throughout this challenge, she still came to Paris and spent time with us all, helping wherever she could and making the experience even more memorable. We honestly can't thank you enough for everything you've done—not just in Paris, but throughout this entire journey. We simply couldn't have asked for better support.

It was also brilliant to get Pete and Jim involved for a few photos too! Seeing more people become part of the memories makes this challenge even more special.

From the early mornings and aching legs to the cafés, the sightseeing, the random laughs, and the conversations that we'll probably never forget... these are the memories that will stay with us long after the miles fade.
This challenge was never just about riding bikes.

It was about showing that when people come together, support each other and aren't afraid to have honest conversations, incredible things can happen.

To everyone who donated, shared our posts, followed the journey, sent messages of support, met us along the way, helped behind the scenes, or simply believed in what we were doing... thank you. You were every bit a part of this challenge as we were.

Here's to brotherhood.
Here's to adventure.
Here's to making memories.

And here's to continuing the conversation long after Paris. 💙

Our final day... 💙🇫🇷

We woke up, packed away camp for the final time, and with Mully joining us, set off on one last adventure through Paris.

Before the crowds, the traffic and the chaos, we wandered through the beautiful Château de Bagatelle gardens. Seeing the wildlife, waterfalls and peaceful surroundings gave us one last moment of calm before stepping into the incredible energy of the city.

Walking through the streets of Paris, surrounded by the stunning architecture, we made our way to the Palais de Chaillot, where we were greeted with one of the most breathtaking views of the Eiffel Tower. No matter how many photos you've seen, nothing prepares you for seeing it with your own eyes. It was absolutely spectacular.

Crossing over the Pont d'Iéna and into the heart of Paris, something happened that none of us expected...

Every single person who completed this challenge decided they wanted to get a tattoo.

Not because it looked cool. Not because it was planned. But because this journey, these memories, the friendships, the struggles, the laughs, the conversations, and everything we experienced together had become something none of us ever wanted to forget. It was a reminder of what can happen when you push yourself outside your comfort zone and share an experience with incredible people. The fact that everyone wanted something permanent to remember this trip by genuinely meant the world to us... and yes, every single one of us ended up getting one too.

A huge thank you also has to go to Pete.

Pete reached out to us before this challenge and spent the week documenting our entire journey, while also capturing Chris' incredible story and his 25-year journey. The amount of time, effort and passion he's put into telling these stories has been amazing, and we're so grateful.

Pete and Jim, who travelled out to meet us at the finish, also surprised us by arranging a celebratory meal at Brasserie Balzar. It was the perfect way to celebrate everything we'd achieved together.
@
Of course, the night couldn't end there...

The nine of us headed back out into Paris one last time. Every restaurant was packed with people watching the World Cup Final, creating an unbelievable atmosphere throughout the city. We eventually made our way back to the Eiffel Tower, this time under the night sky.

Watching it light up before the famous sparkling lights began to twinkle is something none of us will ever forget. We even managed to get underneath the tower together, laughing, joking and soaking up every last second. We think the video says it all.

As the night came to an end, we split up and headed back, crammed into taxis, singing old-school English songs at the top of our lungs. It was the perfect ending to a week that none of us wanted to finish.
This challenge was never just about cycling to Paris.
It was about proving to ourselves that we're capable of more than we think.

It was about brotherhood.
It was about opening up.
It was about supporting one another.
It was about showing that when men come together, incredible things can happen.

To every single person who rode, every single person who supported us behind the scenes, everyone who shared our journey, sent messages, donated, encouraged us, and believed in what Rise & Roam is trying to achieve...

Thank you.

You helped make this possible.

This may be the end of our Norwich to Paris adventure...

But it's only the beginning of what's next.

Until we challenge ourselves again...

💙 Rise & Roam 💙

If our journey has inspired you, please share this post. You never know who might need to see it today. 💙

🚲🇫🇷 DAY 6 – WE MADE IT... PARIS! ❤️🗼

What a way to finish an unforgettable challenge.

Our final morning wasn't about chasing miles anymore... it was about soaking up every moment and taking in one of the most incredible cities in the world together.

Leaving the campsite, we headed to the boating lake nearby before planning one last route around the sights of Paris. We cycled up to the incredible Arc de Triomphe... and yes, we even rode around the famous roundabout amongst all the traffic! 😂 A proper bucket list moment.

From there we weaved through the bustling streets to admire the stunning Grand Palais, before stopping at Place de la Concorde. Then came a completely unexpected moment... we stumbled across the funfair that Garry had visited with his family a few years ago. Back then there was one ride he wanted to go on but never did. This time, all of us went on it together... and trust us, you'll want to watch the video because it was absolutely mental! 🤣🎢

Next stop was the iconic Louvre, grabbing another photo with that world-famous glass pyramid before making our way across the city.

Knowing Bailey and Dacky have both found faith and are on their own journeys through life, it felt right to make sure we stopped at the beautiful Notre-Dame Cathedral, taking a quiet moment to appreciate such an incredible place.

We continued on to the Panthéon, before visiting the Flame of Liberty, a place that held special meaning for our other Chris as he remembered his Nan.

And then...
The moment we'd all been waiting for.

🗼 The Eiffel Tower.

The finish line.

The goal we'd spoken about for months.

The challenge... completed.

Rolling up together beneath the Eiffel Tower after cycling all the way from Norwich is a feeling none of us will ever forget.

To then be welcomed by our amazing Rise & Roam brothers, Pete and Jim, who came all the way to meet us at the finish, made the moment even more special. Thank you, lads. That meant more than you'll ever know. ❤️

This challenge has never just been about cycling.

It's been about proving what can be achieved when people come together.

It's been about conversations, encouragement, laughter, resilience, and being there for one another through every tough mile.

The brotherhood that's been built over these six days is something that will last a lifetime. Every single rider dug deep, looked after each other, and showed exactly what Rise & Roam is all about. We couldn't be prouder of everyone involved.

To everyone who donated, shared our posts, sent messages, supported us from home, welcomed us along the route, or simply believed in us...

Thank you.

You helped make this possible.

We genuinely can't believe it's over.
..or is it? 😉

👀 Keep your eyes peeled for tomorrow's adventures as we spend a day exploring Paris together before heading home. There's still plenty more laughter, memories, and videos to come!

❤️ Brotherhood.
🚲 Achievement.
💙 Mental health.
🌍 Memories for life.

Rise & Roam. Together, we go further.

🚲🇫🇷 DAY 5 COMPLETE... WE'VE MADE IT TO PARIS! 🇫🇷

WE ACTUALLY MADE IT TO PARIS!! 🤯💙

After setting off from Auneuil, we finally pedalled our way into the city we'd been dreaming about reaching for months.

But, as always... the day had plenty of twists and turns before we got there!

The morning certainly didn't start how we'd planned.
Our support campervan had a completely flat battery, so before we could even think about getting on the bikes, we had to find somewhere to get it looked at. Luckily, we stumbled across a garage right next to an Aldi, so headed straight there.

Unfortunately, the news wasn't what we'd hoped for...

The alternator has failed, meaning we're now hoping, praying and crossing absolutely everything that the camper keeps us moving for the rest of the trip! 🙏🏼😂

With that little bit of drama behind us, it was finally time to get back in the saddle.

And France had another challenge waiting...

Some seriously long, gruelling climbs.
The hills just seemed to go on forever, but once again, every single one of the lads dug deep and absolutely smashed them. The legs were hurting, but the determination was stronger.

Then came Google Maps...

Safe to say it had a few ideas of its own! 🤦🏻‍♂️
It decided the best route to Paris involved taking us through fields, gravel tracks and some of the bumpiest paths imaginable. By the end of it, we genuinely thought our teeth were going to rattle loose!

As if that wasn't enough excitement, one of the Baileys picked up our first proper puncture of the trip.
Thankfully, everyone jumped in, tools came out, and before we knew it we'd changed the tube and were back on the road.
Honestly... it felt like watching an F1 pit stop! 🛞⚡

Not long after, Orffy decided he was completely knackered and fancied a lie down.....apparently the easiest way to achieve that was by somehow getting himself tangled up in a fence in a tight alleyway! 🤣

The morale stayed high though, and we eventually found the perfect place to stop for a breather beside a beautiful river.

A quick drink, a chance to catch our breath...
..and, of course, both Baileys decided it was the perfect opportunity for a swim! 🌊😂

With everyone refreshed, we climbed back onto the BMXs for the final push.

Then it happened.

The first glimpses of Paris.

Every mile we'd trained for.
Every sore leg.
Every hill.
Every puncture.
Every early morning.
Every laugh.

It all suddenly felt worth it.
Rolling into Paris together on BMX bikes was one of those moments we'll never forget. It almost didn't feel real.

This challenge has never just been about riding from Norwich to Paris.
It's been about proving what can happen when people come together with a shared purpose. About building brotherhood, creating friendships, encouraging conversations around men's mental health, and showing that even the biggest goals can be achieved one pedal stroke at a time.

To everyone who's donated, followed our journey, shared our posts, or simply sent us a message of encouragement...
Thank you.

You've been part of every mile with us. 💙

Now there's just one thing left to do...

🚲 Our final ride into the very heart of Paris.
Then it's time to soak up everything this incredible city has to offer and celebrate what the team has achieved together.

Come on, boys... one last push! 🙌🏼🇫🇷💙

17/07/2026

🚲🇫🇷 DAY 4 COMPLETE – DIEPPE TO AUNEUIL 🇫🇷

Nearly 80 miles in the legs yesterday... and France certainly kept us on our toes! 💙

After arriving into France on the overnight ferry, we didn't get much sleep, so we had a slightly later start than planned. Despite the broken night's rest, everyone got themselves together, climbed back onto the BMXs, and we set off from Dieppe towards Auneuil.

Unfortunately, the day didn't begin how we'd hoped.

After giving it everything he had, Ryan made the incredibly difficult decision that he couldn't continue with the ride. 😢

No one wanted to see a teammate leave, especially after all the months of training and preparation we've put into this challenge together. But sometimes listening to your body is the bravest decision you can make.
Ryan, you should be incredibly proud of what you've already achieved. You were part of getting this challenge started, and every mile you've ridden counts.

If anything, it gave the rest of us even more determination.

Now we're riding to Paris for him as well. 💙

Once we got rolling, we joined the beautiful Avenue Verte cycle route, and honestly... the first 35 miles were an absolute dream! Smooth paths, incredible scenery, and as flat as a pancake. We were able to settle into a great rhythm and really enjoy riding through the French countryside.

Of course, it wouldn't be an adventure without a few mechanical dramas...
Poor Dacky has absolutely punished his mag wheels on the descents! The brake pads have almost worn through them, and to top it all off, his seat post snapped clean in half, followed by a bolt snapping on his cranks, and having to keep kicking his pedal arm back on for 18 miles! 🤦🏻‍♂️

Then Bailey picked up our first puncture of the trip. Thankfully it was only a very slow puncture, so there were no dramatic blowouts, no crashes, and we were able to get it sorted and carry on.

One thing this ride keeps reminding us is that every challenge is easier when you've got a great team around you. Whether it's helping fix a bike, sharing tools, encouraging someone up a hill, or simply making each other laugh after a long day, that's what this journey is really about.

This has never just been about reaching Paris.
It's about building friendships, strengthening brotherhood, creating support networks, and showing that no matter what life throws at us, we're stronger when we face it together.

After nearly 80 miles, we eventually rolled into Auneuil late in the evening, tired, sore... but buzzing after another unforgettable day in the saddle.

Another day closer.
Another day stronger.
Another day proving why we started.

Thank you to everyone following our journey, donating to our GoFundMe, sharing our posts, and sending messages of support. Every bit of encouragement genuinely keeps us going, and every donation helps us continue creating opportunities for men to connect, support one another, and improve their mental wellbeing through Rise & Roam.

🚲🇬🇧 DAY 3 COMPLETE... AND WOW! 🇫🇷

What. A. Day.

If we thought the first two days had tested us, today had other ideas...

From Mitcham Common all the way to Newhaven, it felt like we were climbing hill after hill after hill. By the end of the day we'd conquered over 3,000ft of elevation... all on BMX bikes! 🤯

It was tough.

Legs were aching, the heat was relentless, and there were moments where every single pedal stroke had to be earned. But once again, nobody gave up. We stuck together, kept each other going, and eventually rolled into Newhaven ready for our 11:00pm ferry to France.

With a little time to spare before boarding, everyone made the most of it in their own way. Some of the lads headed for a refreshing dip in the sea, while others took the opportunity to rest, grab some food and recharge before another huge day ahead.

Our amazing support driver Sarah also arrived with the campervan, which will be our support vehicle while we're riding through France.....and then Garry somehow managed to flatten the battery! 🤦🏻‍♂️😂

Cue a slight panic!

With check-in closing fast, the anxiety levels suddenly became far worse than anything the ride had thrown at us.

Thankfully, a huge thank you goes to the incredibly kind owner of a Ford Raptor, who came to our rescue and helped get us going again. We were back up and running at 9:22pm, just in time to make the 9:30pm check-in.

Talk about cutting it fine! 😅

It's moments like these that remind us how incredible people can be. Whether it's someone offering encouragement, donating to our cause, or simply stopping to help complete strangers, kindness really does go a long way.

And now...

We're officially in France! 🇫🇷🚲

Three days down, countless memories already made, and the adventure is only just getting started.
This ride has never just been about reaching Paris. It's about raising awareness for men's mental health, building brotherhood, showing the power of teamwork, and proving that with the right people around you, you can overcome challenges that once seemed impossible.

Thank you to every single person who's been following our journey, sharing our posts, donating to our GoFundMe, and sending messages of support. Every bit of encouragement keeps us pushing towards Paris and helps us continue creating opportunities for men to connect, talk, and support one another through Rise & Roam.

France... we're coming for you!

Keep an eye out for Day 4, where the real European adventure begins! 💙🚲

🚲🇬🇧 NORWICH TO PARIS – DAY 2 COMPLETE! 🇫🇷

Another day down... and what a day it was! 💙
The alarms went off at 7:00am, and although there were definitely a few aches and stiff legs after yesterday's 43 miles, everyone got themselves ready and we were back on the bikes by 8:00am sharp.

Our original plan was to stop at a camping spot we'd picked out, but we made such good progress that we arrived far too early! In the end, it turned out to be the perfect place to take a breather and escape the afternoon heat before getting back on the road.

And the heat... wow! ☀️

That last 25 miles really tested us. Riding BMX bikes in those temperatures wasn't easy, but everyone dug deep, kept encouraging each other, and just kept turning the pedals.

After around 60 miles, we stopped where we'd planned... but with plenty of determination still left in the tank, we made the decision to carry on.

That decision led to one of the most memorable moments of the whole trip so far.

As darkness fell, we rode right through the heart of London, passing the iconic Tower of London, before experiencing something none of us will ever forget...
Cycling together across Tower Bridge, lit up against the night sky.

It was one of those surreal moments where you stop for a second and think, "We're actually doing this."

That incredible experience gave us the motivation we needed to push through the final 12 miles, eventually arriving at our campsite on Mitcham Common after an amazing 86-mile day.

Today, we set our sights on Newhaven, where we'll catch the ferry before continuing our journey towards Paris.

This challenge has never just been about the destination.

Every mile is about raising awareness for men's mental health, showing the importance of stepping outside our comfort zones, building friendships, strengthening support networks, and proving that together we can achieve things that once felt impossible.

If you've been following our journey and would like to support us, we'd be incredibly grateful if you could donate to one of our GoFundMe pages. Every donation—big or small—helps us continue the work we do through Rise & Roam, creating opportunities for men to connect, support one another, and improve their mental wellbeing.

Thank you to everyone who's donated, shared our posts, sent us messages, or cheered us on along the way. Your support is helping carry us all the way to Paris.

Next stop... Newhaven. 🚲🇬🇧➡️🇫🇷💙
