Can’t believe it has nearly been 1 term of coaching these 2 amazing groups. Time has flown by and it has been a pleasure to get to know everyone from the clubs to the parents and players.

If anyone knows me, I love to try colour co ordinate before I then layout/set up a session as well as when setting activities up.

This isn’t just something I love doing but it has so many benefits for coaching.

Some reasons why it helps:
1) Helps transitions easier as can clear a certain colour cone/equipment up.

2) Helps make it easier to understand where you are working and separate activities more especially if you lucky enough to be able to set up most/all of a session.

3) Can help you feel more relaxed as it not a scramble of different colours all together.

4) You can set assigned tasks to different colours for example when get to a blue cone can you do a L turn and when get to a red gate do a step over. This can then help them with memory and also their reactions, processing and decision making speeds.

How is it their final league game of their first season tomorrow.

So proud of them for how far they have come and how they have faced challenges.
