Hybrid fitness is the pursuit of two opposing physical qualities at the same time.
Example: Aerobic fitness and absolute strength.
The strongest people in the world rarely value or train their cardiovascular capacity to any meaningful degree. Equally, an elite endurance athlete, such as a marathon runner is unlikely to prioritise maximal strength.
Hybrid training sits between these two extremes. Over this series of videos, we’ll explore how to become stronger and fitter simultaneously, and how to balance both goals effectively within the realities of limited time, recovery and everyday life.
