We look forward to welcoming visitors back to the nation’s forests soon.

Our priority is to keep people safe. We’re coming up with a plan for how we can re-open our car parks and other facilities while still managing our forests safely and supporting social distancing. Until then, please do not travel to the nation’s forests.

Keep an eye on our website for updates.

Please be aware that Wales’ lockdown measures remain unchanged. This is in contrast to the PM’s announcement regarding the slightly vague, easing of rules for travelling for exercise in England.

As such, the visitor centre, car park, all mountain-bike, running and walking trails will remain closed for the time being.

We continue to be extremely grateful for all the kind messages we are receiving from the mountain biking community, but at this time we must realise that we are also a part of our local community, and as such, we feel a huge responsibility to them.

To help us do that, we reach out to ask that you all respect the fact that we are closed, and please stay away.

When the time is right, we will be open again, and we will welcome you all back with ‘socially distanced’ open arms, but until then, stay close to home, and let us focus on what we need to do to be able to reopen when it is safe to do so.

Stay safe, Jim, Badger & the OPA team.
