And to round off the kickathon week, the little dude that inspired us to fundraise for the NICU is now big enough to do the kickathon 🥲

A day we weren't sure we'd ever see when we were sat in the NICU, but thanks to the tireless work of the nurses and doctors there, he's here and he did 40 kicks in one minute for the NICU that saved his life ❤️

So incredibly proud of all of the kids, they were brilliant across both nights!

I shared a brief explanation of why we do the kickathon with them in an age appropriate way and they all took it on so well! One of the kids came up to me tonight after class and said "babies are going to get better faster now because of this!" And my heart nearly exploded 🥲🥰

All next week all our BDTKD classes will be taking part in our annual kickathon to raise money for Leighton Hospital NICU!

Mini Dragons team, it's time for you guys to find out what the Kickathon is all about 🥳

Each year we set a goal - as many kicks as you can in a given timeframe and this year our Mini's will be taking part and doing a full minute of front kicks to do as many as they can!

The Kickathon started to raise money for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Leighton Hospital after they looked after my son when he was born back in 2022. They were utterly amazing and so it felt fitting to try and give back, then the kickathon was born! Over 3 Kickathon's we have raised over £4000 so lets get that number climbing higher!

Letters and sponsor forms will be given out in classes this week, you can also pop me a message if you have any questions at all!

This year we will also have our Minis taking part in the kickathon! A slightly different version for our Minis but still a huge effort for them!

Details will be announced in classes shortly, doing this bigger and better this year to raise as much as possible for Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity on behalf of the NICU that looked after my little boy when he was born 🥰
