Phwoar, what a scorcher! Well, actually it was slightly cooler than the last few days - for which we were very grateful. Still a lovely sunny day! 😎

Slightly smaller than usual, as two of our group are walking and volunteering at St Luke's Cheshire Hospice Midnight Walk tonight. Best of luck!

Some of us ran, others jogged and walked. We were delighted to welcome a parkrun tourist from Lytham into our group. It was lovely to meet someone from another area and experience the friendly and welcoming atmosphere of both parkrun and 5k Your Way.

As always, we enjoyed tea, coffee and cakes at the fantastic The Coffee House after! ☕️ 🧁 🫖

It’s always a pleasure to catch up with the wonderful group of people from 5k Your Way Northwich. A huge well done to everyone who participated. A special thank you to Northwich parkrun and their volunteers for organising such an excellent event.

The sun was shining on us today for 5k Your Way! 😎 Such a lovely morning. One of our biggest turnouts ever, with 19 humans and 5 dogs! It was Northwich parkrun parkwalk day today - parkrun is an inclusive environment open to all abilities, not just runners!

Then we went for tea, coffee and cakes at The Coffee House where it was warm enough to sit outside! ☕️ 🧁 🫖 🌞

Always great to catch up with the wonderful group of people which is 5k Your Way Northwich. A huge well done to everyone who came along.

Looking forward to next time on 30th May! Same time, same place!

A small but mighty turn out for 5k Your Way this morning! The weather stayed dry and it was nice and sunny, though still a bit cold! Two of us walked with Northwich parkrun parkwalker volunteer. This helped us to get a good time, proving the benefit and importance of that role - parkrun is an inclusive environment open to all abilities, not just runners!

Then we went for tea, coffee and teacakes at The Coffee House afterwards! ☕️ 🧁 🫖

What a brilliant morning for our 5k Your Way! Northwich parkrun kindly let our fabulous ambassador Liz take the mic this morning - explaining to everyone what we do - thank you!

There have been some great improvements to the course, which make it much less muddy. Well done Cheshire West and Chester Council

Most of us took the event at a relaxed walking pace, enjoying the chance to move. Some of us ran! As always, the 5k Your Way spirit shone through – no rush, no pressure, just being active together in whatever way felt right. Then (of course!) we went for tea, coffee and cakes at The Coffee House afterwards! ☕️ 🧁 🫖
