Friday Feeling - the benefits and pitfalls of home-based working

As the weekend approaches, I would like you to reflect on whether you find yourself being more or less productive working from home?

I found it interesting during the pandemic that some companies flourished from the working from home life and have made this permanent.

In fact, in February 2022, 84% of workers who had to spend time working from home during the pandemic, planned to continue in the post-Covid era – certainly wishing for a more hybrid solution.

Monday Mood = Christmas!!!

Helping those who need it …

Since 2020, I have supported several charities as a job and interview coach on a pro-bono basis and provided support to people with barriers to employment. This has enabled them to get access to opportunities and succeed.

Feel Good Friday!

I'm out of the office today, for a long overdue catch up with a friend.

We’re going to see the Banksy exhibition at Media City and I'm really looking forward to a good chat and to see this work. This exhibition has 145 iconic pieces of art, from prints, canvases and sculptures created by the artist. I am most looking forward to seeing his sculptures!

Mindfulness Monday

Do you find your work/life balance affects your mindfulness? Are you so overwhelmed you forgot, or missed, the path you wanted to take?

Taking a break for 10 minutes each day and practising mindfulness really can help. It clarifies the mind, gives you much-needed ‘time out’ and helps you get back on track in no time!

And remember, create a schedule that is realistic to you, no one else.
