Having a rounded or “hunchback” posture in your 40s? You’re not alone. 🤏
I see so many mums and dads at the school run with rounded shoulders, a forward head and a stiff upper back.
So this one is for you. ❤️
Here’s something important to understand:
You can’t simply stretch your “hunchback” into a neutral posture.
Stretching may feel good and help you move more freely, but lasting postural change involves looking at the whole body — how your head, shoulders, spine, pelvis, hips and feet work together, as well as how you breathe and move throughout the day.
Your posture is a whole-body relationship, not just one tight muscle.
That’s why in Janny’s Spine Care Yoga, I don’t focus on forcing your back straight.
We work on alignment, mobility, strength, awareness and breath — helping your body find a more supported and balanced way to move.
And yes, you can start changing how you move at any age.
Your body deserves support, not force.
If this sounds like you, comment “POSTURE” and I’ll share more Spine Care tips with you.
