Pleased to say Tara is looking good for Sandringham after a wobbly few weeks of her just no being 100% we had the most amazing vet Oliver Siddons-Terrasse from Oxford Equine Vets not only travel up to us but on a Sunday aswell! After a full flexion examination and trot ups as well as some spectacular shapes on the lunge it was decided to move forward with injecting Tara's knee with some suppa duppa magic gloop (yes that's my technical term 😂 sorry Oliver)
She's having a few days off while I'm away in Devon with the shetland team then back to ridden work next weekend. Wish me luck she hasn't been ridden in 3 weeks and she is feeling really good and super fit. I hope Tom and George are ready to hold on at Sandringham 😂

Big shout out to Horseboarding UK for getting us all connected with Oliver and his team. It's been a real game changer for us, the horses and the sport. 🐴

So our Bowood breakdown! You will notice Tara isn't in our pics this time. She's had a break at home after a busy few weeks and just not being her full 100%. (She will be back for Sandringham in September)
So let's introduce you to the man, the myth, the legend that is GOOSE!! The only stallion in horseboarding and loved by everyone. He is the nicest soul and just loves life in everything he does. So first let's start by saying a huge huge thank you to his amazing mum Georgina Langrick Scott from team section 89 and kings Gambit for very kindly lending us Goose this week.

Bowood was definitely a quieter year than previous shows and only 5 horses and 6 teams running meant there wasn't much time between runs and being the only 2 teams in advanced this weekend meant we had nothing to prove and belt around the arena. So we decided to just do one run on each team in each heat.

Hot ta trot: 1st, boarder: Tom Kilroy 45points 🔥
Ice ice baby: 2nd, boarder: George Evans 30points 🧊

Hot ta trot currently in 1st in the championship and
Ice ice baby sitting in 3rd place. Sandringham will definitely be an interesting weekend between us and Hold Your Horses - Horseboarding Uk Team sitting just behind us in the league x

Out of the teenage era now 20!!
A fantastic weekend of racing at Bowood game and country fair, straight after our fab day at poucher in Lincoln.

So here's a few shots of our teams this weekend (you will notice something different in the teams this week but that's for a tomorrow post it's been a long long day!)
1st place for Hot ta trot and 2nd place for Ice ice baby.

Wow what an experience. HOT TA TROT had the privilege of riding the legend, the main man..... GOOSE today subbing in for Tara as she's needed a bit of down time and not 100% the last few weeks altho looking fine now we decided with the ground ect at the moment she was better to stay at home this week.
Georgina Langrick Scott has very kindly let us use Goose. He is the only stallion on HBUK and what a beautiful gentleman he is. Coming 1st today with almost 30k!!!...... yes 30 thousand people watching live at the show and via live streamer across the international scouts around the world.
Such an honor to be part of this event. (Yes I was in scouts for a few years along with Finley my brother, so we know how important this event is to them)
Now a very quick turnout and off to bowood for the next event xx
