We love seeing people using the Training Wall.

For experienced climbers, it's a great place to warm up before moving onto harder problems. For newer climbers, it's often where confidence starts to grow.

The climbs are designed to be more accessible, giving you the chance to focus on movement, footwork and getting comfortable on the wall without feeling overwhelmed.

Everyone starts somewhere, and the Training Wall has helped plenty of climbers take those first steps.

We’ve got loads happening this month at The Pinnacle Bouldering Centre in Weston Favell, whether you’re looking to climb harder, meet new people or just grab some pizza after a session 🍕

🧗 Block of the Week
Fresh comp-style blocs every Thursday from 5pm. Big moves, fun problems and only around for one week before they disappear.

🍕 Pizza Social Night
Every Monday from 7pm - 10pm. Free pizza, relaxed climbing and a great way to meet other climbers in the centre.

🙌 Ladies Social & Coaching Night
Sunday 28th June, 6pm - 8pm. A supportive evening designed to help women climb, connect and build confidence together.

💪 Private Coaching Sessions
Available during opening hours. Perfect if you want to improve technique, work on weaknesses or push your grade with personalised coaching. Pop us a message or an email and we will pair you up with the perfect instructor!

🔥 Guest Setter Incoming
12th June from 5pm, guest setter Will Knight will be bringing his unique style of power, technique and skill, Will knight will be joining us to throw up some problems on the steeper section of the island. Don't forget to rate them on vertical life and let us know how you get on.

Bloc Of The Week! 💥

This week's brings you two blocs of the week.

We have a yellow traverse which will require full engagement of your shoulders as you power your way through.

Then we have a dynamic blue problem, which will require you to watch your feet placement as you skip across the volumes working your way up.

Still bouldering-curious? 👀🧗

This is our intro wall.

It’s tucked away from the main bouldering room, giving you space to learn the basics, build confidence and have a go without feeling like everyone’s watching. (Not that we judge here anyway. Everyone started somewhere. 🙌)

It’s also where many of our younger climbers first learn movement, balance and technique before progressing onto the bigger walls.

Honestly, it’s one of the best places to realise climbing is far more about movement and problem solving than just upper body strength. 💪
