It is with a very heavy heart that we announce the recent passing of assistant youth Coach of our U13’s squad at Heyford Athletic FC just after Christmas.
Martin has been a great support to all at the club over the years and has watched his own son and the team develop into the determined and charismatic young players they have become.
Martin was key to the continuation of the U13s, stepping forward to take up the role of assistant coach 2 years ago, he was passionate about the development of the squads footballing knowledge and skills always wanting the team to play football the ‘right way’ he was always there to support each member of the squad and coaches.
After a brutal but determined battle with an aggressive cancer over the last few years, which despite the toll it took on his body and mind continued to attend the games and training to support his son and the team.
His unwavering support, commitment and bravery throughout was an inspiration to us all.
He will be sorely missed by all at HAFC and our thoughts and support go to his son Ollie, his Wife Julie, family and friends at this heartbreaking and challenging moment!
All Heyford teams will be observing a mark of respect for Martin and his family at the next scheduled games!

Our new Women's team before their friendly game v Kingsthorpe Jets, playing their 1st ever game at home this Afternoon.

Seen are the girls with our Chairman's granddaughter Mila, at the rear is Mr Justin Hammond Managing Director of CW Audit Solutions and Fin Marshall , Assistant manager of the team, the ladies are in their new home kit with Our Chairman and Mr Hammond holding a Shirt from the new all red away kit, Mr Hammond kindly sponsored both Kits.

It was the Ladies 2nd pre season game, winning the 1st one away and emphatically winning 6-0 today in front of a decent support.

Well done again Girls.

We are looking for players with the view to adding them to our squads, we have 2 games on Saturday, come and see if you like the club etc, if your still looking and have not settled on a club yet for the upcoming season.

1st team in the Premier Division and Reserves in the 2nd Division.

Tomorrow, Sunday 20th July 2025, see's a Charity game at the ground, raising money for MIND, such a great cause.

The game is between Ruby United v Northampton Exiles, and KO is at 2pm, we invite everyone to come and watch and perhaps make a donation to such a fantastic cause.

The bar will be open throughout so why not pop along and help charity and have a good afternoon watching football.

We are a progressive club with 2 adult mens teams, 2 great pitches, a fully functioning clubhouse with bar facilities amongst great surroundings.
