We only went to the track to do some laps ahead of the British!

Less said about the decision making following Sunday's accident in the final the better at the moment. We are still too angry about the delay in Maria and the other child receiving medical attention.

We would like to thank everyone who saw the accident and the aftermath at the track who raised their concerns about the officiating decisions - I'm sorry you received the response you did at the time.
We are thankful to all of those that have spoken up afterwards and refuse to be silenced so that safety concerns can be raised and hopefully improved rather than brushed under the carpet in the name of reputation.

Thank you to the marshals and the paramedics, who once they were allowed to go to Maria were amazing at looking after her.

Finally, thank you everyone for their messages on here.
Maria is very sore and bruised, but she is a tough cookie!

🥉🏆PODIUM @ The Rotax Festival 🏆🥉

Great, chilled race weekend down at Dunkeswell for the JAG ROTAX | Rotax UK Rotax Festival.

Strong pace all weekend and lovely to be back on the podium. Haven't been at the track for over 18 months and never driven the track in the warm, dry weather.

Quali - DNS - 🙃 we had another carb issue - the same as at both Genk and Kimbolton. However, we worked out what the problem was and now it's fixed!! Meant starting both heats for P20 - so time to have fun!!

Heat 1 - P20 ⬆️ P3 OTR.
Post race DSQ for chain l**e getting in the clutch - we used a chain lubricant we have never used before. Thought it was a bit thin when it sprayed out the can... Never, ever will we use it again!!! Not deliberate, but glad we found out there was a problem in heat 1!
Chain and clutch fully dismantled, cleaned and put back together!

Heat 2 -P20 ⬆️ P3 - loved racing all the way through. Ran out of time to catch the 2 front runners.

Pre-final - P12 ⬆️ P3 another great run, but felt the kart was lacking a bit of power. Still happy to get the results to line up on the 2nd row for the final.

Final- P3 ⏩ P3 - set up had fallen away from us a little bit with changing weather conditions. Lack of "local knowledge" for carb set up in changing weather here definitely hindered the pace a bit, but still a really strong race from Maria.

RMC Euro Trophy - Genk


Quali - P16 🙃 left a lot of work to do. Just got stuck in traffic with another driver who decided to defend and white line every corner 🥴

Heat 1 - P7 - up 9 places 🚀
Heat 2 - P6 - up 10 places 🚀
Heat 3 - P11 - up 5 places - got pushed wide by another driver which put dirt all over the tyres and hampered some progress.

Pre-Final - P4 - got into P2 for a few laps but lacking a bit of something to make that final push.

Final - P6 - absolutely gutted to end the weekend in a position I knew I could do better than. An engine set up change didn't work and I could feel it wasn't right from the formation lap (and probably was why I felt it was a little off in the pre-final).

Proud of the pace and being right at the front where I should be, but disappointed all the same.

Day 1 of the double header.

Started the day really well.
Felt really good in qualifying and heat 1 went well too.

Then the set up began to fall away from us and spent the rest of the day chasing what was missing.

Feeling a little disappointed, but will regroup and go again tomorrow with a fresh start and a second opportunity.
