“I’m just not consistent.”

I hear it on nearly every call. Said like it’s a fact about who they are rather than a fact about what they were trying to stick to.

I usually ask what the plan was.

They’ll tell me they turn up, do some stuff, maybe run at the weekend, eat sensibly-ish.

That’s not a plan. That’s a random approach and going off how you feel on the day.

The clients of mine who look disciplined from the outside aren’t unusually disciplined. They’ve just stopped deciding. Tuesday tells them what to do, so they do it.

If you’ve fallen off five or six times, that’s five or six plans that couldn’t survive a busy week. Worth considering it was never you.

DM me START and I’ll build you something that holds.

“You can’t build muscle and lose fat at the same time.”

I get told this constantly. Here’s four months of one client’s data on his journey so far…

📉 Waist down 15cm. Hips down 10cm. 5kg down.
📈 Chest up 6.5cm. Arms up 4.5cm.
📊 Bench up 13.3kg. Went from 30kg of assistance on pull ups to none, and from 32kg assisted on dips to 10kg hanging off him.

Now the part most accounts skip.

This doesn’t happen for everyone. Recomposition works best when you’re newer to structured training, returning after a break, or starting with a bit more body fat to lose. He ticked all three boxes. If you’ve been training seriously for years and you’re already lean, you’ll probably need to pick a direction and commit for a block.

What it took wasn’t clever. A controlled deficit, enough protein, and training that actually progressed week to week. Held for four months.

He came to me because he’d hit a point of being unhappy with his health and fitness and knew he needed structure rather than more effort.

The bit he talks about most isn’t in the numbers. Sleeping better, sharper in the head, happier because he can see it working.

If you’ve spent years picking between building and leaning out, there’s a good chance you never needed to choose.

DM me START and I’ll teach you how to achieve similar results like Luke.

PS. Stay tuned for his amazing transformation. Coming soon… 👀

Andy.

If you’re constantly complaining about how boring the gym is, you need a different approach. There’s nothing wrong repeating the same routine if it’s getting you results and you’re happy doing it.

However, if it’s boring and mundane and it’s stopping you from going to the gym and getting the results that you actually want to achieve. Most of you would benefit from being challenged, having a coach and being pushed outside your comfort zone.

🔹Introducing new exercises
🔹Assigning rep and weight targets
🔹Achieving small wins in each workout
🔹Motivated to keep showing up

DM me ‘START’ for more information on how I can help you.

Official Half Marathon PB 🏆

Completed the half in 1:43:20. 4:50 /km average pace, average heart rate 158 bpm.

Was originally going to try keep in zone 2 and not over do it. That lasted for about 10 seconds. Running with others in a race like this definitely gives you determination to push that bit harder and test yourself.

Got a nice flow going from the off that I managed to maintain for the entirety of the run. It wasn’t easy by any means, the legs were feeling sore but we kept moving.

Three weeks now until Loch Ness Marathon! Predicted strava time for it now is 3:50:42 👀

Heavily contemplated signing up to the Northampton Half next Sunday. I managed to finish that in 1:32:11 last year. The route was 350m short of 21.1km so never officially completed a half marathon distance, not very strava friendly 🤣

Well done to everyone out there today and thank you to the organisers for putting on a great event Stanwick Lakes 🙏

20kg down. 24cm off her waist, 21cm off her hips, 15cm off her chest. A whole new wardrobe, 100km run in a single month, and a half marathon smashed.

Emily came to me wanting a proper lifestyle change, not a crash diet for a holiday. Something she could keep long after our time together ended. Have a look at what we did.

In her words:
“Andrew took the time to help determine my goals and tailored a programme specific to me and my lifestyle. This was once quite a daunting project, but he took all of the negativity out of it and made it a super enjoyable and positive challenge.”

We gave her flexibility from day one. Foods she enjoys, social occasions, a drink at the weekend. That’s exactly why it worked, and why she can carry it on herself now. She’s stepped away from toxic diet culture for good and come out the other side with confidence, energy and a completely different relationship with food.

Here’s what you can realistically aim for in your first 3 months:
📉 5 to 10kg of fat loss
💪 Muscle and strength built
🏃 Fitness and health improved
🧠 Confidence back where it should be

And what you get from me:
🏋️ Training and nutrition built around your life
📲 Proactive support and guidance, not just a plan and good luck
✅ Weekly check ins to keep you on track
📞 Monthly action plan calls to map what’s next

If you want results without giving up the things you enjoy, DM me START or apply through the link in my bio.
