Every guest arrived with the same goal, and seeing each of them achieve it has been a brilliant way to begin Wharfe Bank Fishing.

Of course, fishing never comes with guarantees. What we can offer is time on a private stretch of the Wharfe, experienced guidance, the right tackle and tactics, and every chance to make your session count.

We are only opening a limited number of guided dates each month.

After a couple of noticeably slower seasons, this year has been a very different story!

We’ve seen some cracking barbel coming out of the river, and our guided sessions have got off to a brilliant start too.

It’s still fishing, so nothing is ever guaranteed, but it’s certainly been an encouraging season so far.

A great day’s fishing doesn’t start with the first cast.

Before our guests arrive, we spend time preparing the swim, introducing a little bait and giving the fish confidence to feed naturally. It’s one of the many little details that goes into every guided session.

There’s never a guarantee in fishing and that’s what makes it so special but we do everything we can to give you the best possible opportunity while sharing decades of experience on the River Wharfe.
