Succeeding as an is 40% kit, 60% skill.

Some of these photos show me using my ghillie all wrong. The environment did not match the suit. That said, when I used the suit correctly, I was able to make some huge plays.

SECUTOR RAPAX DMR Airsoft Replica

Serviced and fitted with a new hop rubber, piston assembly (w/ AOE corrected), and air nozzle.

Chrono 319 fps on a 0.36g, 440 fps on a 0.20g.

Ares Piston heads just won’t seal regardless of the o-ring you stick on them… this one is now firing beautifully.

Whilst I prefer my MP7 GBB, I have to admit this ASG KWA MP9 is probably better… apart from the hopeless spring at the front that locks the top cover in place.

Don’t use green gas unless you upgrade that disconnector and bump up that recoil spring to 130%.

This one is still due a clean.

2” x 2.5” grouping at 60 feet from an with the WASP Piston. Rifle is otherwise stock at 2.3 J on a 90 N spring.

Groupings at this range are a bit silly since airsoft replicas have a non-linear trajectory. Your expectation for an airsoft sniper rifle should be “can this reliably hit a torso-sized-target at 200+ feet?” - not 2 pence sized groupings at less than your MED.

This rifle exceeds the standard required for airsoft with incredibly consistent performance thanks to the WASP.

It’s also worth knowing how good a shooter you actually are. Having shot 28mm groupings on the real-steel SA80, it would be bloody stupid to expect anything better from a replica.

This one needed a full cylinder, and the only full cylinder I had lying around was M14 length.

So I decided to “have a go” cutting the M14 cylinder down a couple of mm - now fitting perfectly. All cut, measured, and polished.

Saved the customer some money on a new cylinder and didn’t charge for the time since it was an experiment.

Completely stupid though. Not sure why anyone normal would bother.

What internals do you run in your ?

I’ve tried all sorts of upgrades but nothing has lived up to the hype. Stock performance is great, but I’ve thrown in the Dynamic Precision spring set in the hopes of greater durability. No snags yet.

Heavyweight buffer, Modify Tan rubber, Prometheus CNC Hop Arm were *okay* but I didn’t like them. AngryGun Externals are however very Gucci.
