Everyone at Normanton Knights would like to send a huge congratulations to Lillie Davies, who has signed a contract with York Valkyrie Under 19s. 👏🏉

Lillie has been part of the Normanton Knights family for almost 10 years, growing up in our colours and developing from a young girl who simply loved playing rugby into the talented young woman and player she is today.

Through years of hard work, determination and commitment, Lillie has earned this fantastic opportunity — and she now stands just one step away from potentially becoming the first homegrown Normanton Knights female player to play in the Women’s Super League. ❤️🖤

For everyone who has coached her, played alongside her, supported her from the touchline or watched her pull on a Knights shirt over the years, this is an incredibly proud moment.

And anybody who has watched Lillie play will know that she has the talent, attitude and determination to take that next step.

Lillie, you should be immensely proud of how far you’ve come. You’ll always be part of the Normanton Knights family, and there will be plenty of people back at The Graveyard following your journey and cheering you on every step of the way.

Good luck to all of our girls for tomorrow! ❤️

Just remember, whatever your results are, it’s not the end of the world, and a piece of paper doesn’t define who you are or what you can achieve.

You’re all massive pains in the bum sometimes 😂, but you’re also all amazing young ladies with a whole world of adventures ahead of you. Never forget that there are always options, different paths to take, and ways to fix things if they don’t go exactly how you hoped.

Be proud of yourselves, whatever tomorrow brings. You’ve come this far, and that’s something to be proud of. ❤️

🏉 That's a Wrap for the 2026 League Season! ❤️🖤🤍

It's been a challenging year, with fixtures being rearranged, teams folding, and unfortunately a few nasty injuries along the way. Through it all, the girls have shown incredible resilience, determination and team spirit.

We started pre-season with around 10 players, and we're finishing the league with a fantastic squad of 17 girls. Every single one of them has played their part, supported one another, and grown together as a team—exactly what rugby is all about.

To all of our players: well done! You should be incredibly proud of everything you've achieved this season. We certainly are.

Now it's time for a well-earned summer break from league matches before we return refreshed for friendlies and cup fixtures in September.

Thank you to all the parents, families, coaches, volunteers and supporters who have been with us every step of the way.

Enjoy the summer, girls. We'll see you back on the pitch in September! 🏉❤️🖤🤍💪

With our final league match coming up on Tuesday, and the girls having finished both their exams and school, we thought they deserved a well-earned treat!

An afternoon at Rother Valley Aqua Park followed by pizza was the perfect way to celebrate. It's safe to say the girls have had fun... while the coaches are definitely feeling a little broken! 😂

A fantastic afternoon full of fun, laughter, and plenty of memories. Roll on Tuesday for one last league game then on to more friendlies and the cup games in September 🏉❤️🖤🤍

Happy Father's Day to all the dads in our rugby family. We hope you've all had a fantastic day and that the girls have treated you like kings! 👑

A special Happy Father's Day to our two coaches, Paul and Lee. Not only do they have to put up with their own teenage daughters, but they also spend their time dealing with another 15 teenage girls giving them grief every week! 🏅

Thank you both for everything you do for the girls. Your dedication, patience, support and commitment to the team are truly appreciated. We’re lucky to have you both. ❤️🖤🤍
