Countdown is on for the New Year’s Day Dip planned to take place tomorrow at 11:00am at the Anchor Car Park, Portavogie.
Weather and sea conditions will be reviewed at 9:00am. Unless otherwise advised, the swim will proceed as scheduled.

PORTAVOGIE'S NEW YEARS DAY 2026 CHARITY DIP in aid of Braveheart's NI and RNLI.
Swim will take place at 11am at Portavogie Beach, meeting at Anchor Carpark ⚓️
Tea, coffee, soup and nibbles will be provided for much needed warmth afterwards.
Get your 2026 off to a great start and please encourage friends, family etc to come along in support of these great charity's 😍

It's !

A huge thank you to the Burr Point Buoys who organised a cold water dip on New Years Day 2024🌊

The day was a huge success with over 200 people showing up and £1,900 had been raised which has been split between Cancer Focus Northern Ireland and RNLI.

A massive thank you to Sharon White and Ruth Ewing for organising this incredible event. These funds will ensure that we can continue to support local people on their cancer journey🤍
