Yesterday was our September Medal and Pink Day at St Medan and what a wet day for golf! Hats off to the hardy ladies who set off and continued to play the full 18 holes.

In 1st place congratulations go to Aileen with a Net 82 (bih), 2nd Doreen also Net 82 and in 3rd place Elspeth with Net 89 👏👏👏

A fabulous £283 was raised for Breast Cancer Care and I big thank you to Christine and Jean for organising a lovely afternoon of Pimms and cupcakes 🧁 🥳🥂

St Medan's Curry and Quiz Night was held last night in the clubhouse and it was a great success .... £470 was raised plus bar takings estimated at around £200. The winning team kindly donated their cash winnings back to the club, which was a generous gesture and very much appreciated.

Thanks to everyone who brought raffle prize donations they were fabulous.

Thanks also to Sheralyn, Naomi our star Quiz ‘Master’ and Lynda, Hamish and Jac on the bar and akso Monreith Village Hall for the loan of chairs.

A great night had by all x

This Friday and Saturday, the ladies battled it out over 36 holes for the Cabramatta, and with the course playing absolutely fantastically.

It was a close call yet again and Doreen’s fantastic 2 at the 18th sealed the win with a better inward half.

A nice but blustery evening for our penultimate mixed competition of the year. The course is in great condition which made for some really good scoring in the tough foursomes format.
