What an incredible two days of competition at the SLSGB Masters National Surf Lifesaving Championships this weekend 🌊🏊‍♂️

It was a landmark first Nationals entry for our young club, spearheaded by the young at heart! A respectable points haul, an impressive Oceanman and a tonne of experience gained, we'll be back next year with gusto and with our Nippers in tow.

Huge thanks to our supporters throughout both days especially to the Nippers and Youth who came along to support their Coaches so vocally - it really made a difference. Extra thanks to two of our Nippers, Demelza and Molly, for volunteering to run bibs for the sprint races - that spirit of helping is really what lifesaving is all about.

Big shout-out to Holywell Bay Surf Life Saving Club for setting an incredible hosting standard - we don't know whether it's always this good, but if so then this community is even more amazing than we thought ❤️

All remaining orders have been left at the First Aid Tent with Julia at Holywell Bay.

If your order isn’t collected by Wednesday at the Nippers, it will be taken back to Carlyon Bay, and collection will then need to be arranged.

We’ve done our best to get as many orders as possible out to the clubs over the weekend at Nationals. Thank you for your patience and understanding! 😊

🌊 That’s a wrap on the Cornish Nipper Championships 2026! 🌊

What an incredible weekend it’s been! We couldn’t be prouder of every single one of our CBSLSC Nippers.

They gave it absolutely everything, showing not only their determination and effort in every race but also the sportsmanship, encouragement and team spirit that makes our club so special. You represented Carlyon Bay with pride, and we couldn’t ask for more.

A huge thank you to our amazing coaches, chaperones and volunteers. Your time, energy and dedication behind the scenes made the whole weekend possible, and we’re so grateful for everything you do for our club.

And finally, thank you to surflifesavingcornwall for organising another fantastic Cornish Nipper Championships. What an absolutely brilliant event!

This weekend, Carlyon Bay Surf Life Saving Club is proud to host the largest-ever Nippers event, with over 600 young people taking to the beach to compete! 🏅🌊☀️

It’s going to be an incredible weekend of fun, and friendly competition, with our wonderful beach vendors open for business and ready for you all!

If you’re planning to visit Carlyon Bay, please be aware that the beach and car park will be much busier than usual!

Every purchase helps support Carlyon Bay Surf Life Saving Club. As our fellow clubs will know, we are a volunteer-run club, we rely on fundraising to help keep our equipment and training going, so every bacon bap and brew really does make a difference.
