Our brand-new 100mยฒ Indian sandstone patio is now complete, creating a fantastic new area around the pavilion for players, members, families, sponsors and visitors to enjoy.

Huge investment in the club continues as we keep improving our facilities both on and off the pitch.

What a final. What a chase. What a way to finish it.

Cambridge Old Monks posted a strong 239 all out with Kieran Lloyd, Chris Pell and Romel Khan all taking 2 wickets while James Holmes led the attack with 3 wickets.

In reply, skipper Joe Barker set the tone superbly with a classy 70, while Ant Bompas added an excellent 41 before being run out after a mix-up.

At 181/7, we still needed 59 from 33 balls and the game was right in the balanceโ€ฆ

Then Ravi Manchala produced an unbelievable innings under pressure, smashing 63 from just 30 balls, including 7 sixes, to take us home at 244/7 from 37.4 overs.

A brilliant performance when it mattered most and a fantastic achievement for the whole 2nd XI squad.

Huge credit as well to Cambridge Old Monks who played their part in an exciting final contested in great spirits throughout.

This afternoon our 2nd XI take on Cambridge Old Monks 2nd XI in the ๐‚๐‚๐€ ๐‰๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐จ๐ซ ๐‚๐ก๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž๐ง๐ ๐ž ๐‚๐ฎ๐ฉ ๐๐ฅ๐š๐ฒ๐จ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ ๐…๐ข๐ง๐š๐ฅ at Tuddenham CC.

Itโ€™s been a brilliant season for the lads and theyโ€™ve earned the opportunity to finish it with one more big game. It would be fantastic to see plenty of Newmarket support on the sidelines backing them throughout.

Another major ground improvement project completed at Newmarket Cricket Club.

Over the past two days, two brand-new pitches have been installed into our square, increasing its capacity and giving us greater flexibility as the club continues to grow.

Alongside the new pitches, the entire square has undergone its full end-of-season renovation putting it to bed and giving it the best possible start ahead of the 2027 season.

A huge thank you to for carrying out the work and helping us continue to raise the standard of our facilities.

Weโ€™re delighted to announce that Sam Robinson will join Newmarket CC for the 2027 season.

Sam brings a wealth of experience to the club, having represented Cambridgeshire at Minor Counties level and is a proven, high-quality left-arm spinner.

A fantastic first addition as we look to strengthen the squad and push on again next season.

Another brilliant day at our annual Super 7s yesterday with 8 teams battling it out in a day packed with runs, wickets, plenty of laughs and a great lunch!

For the ๐“๐‡๐ˆ๐‘๐ƒ year running, Nunnys VII took home the trophy beating the Bangladeshi Tigers in a cracking final.

Chasing 66 to win, Nunnys VII got over the line with just 4 balls to spare to complete the hat-trick!

A remarkable couple of weeks for 2nd XI skipper Joe Barker, leading from the front with back-to-back unbeaten centuries as the 2s continue their charge towards the title. ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”ฅ

On 8th August, Cam Kerala set Newmarket 257 to win but Joe produced a stunning 164*, brilliantly supported by Rohan Odedra 71*, as the 2s cruised to 259/1 from 34.4 overs to win by 9 wickets.

Then on Saturday, Bottisham & Lode posted 250 and once again the response was emphatic. Joe followed up with another superb 107*, while Saurabh Gupta struck an excellent 97, as Newmarket raced to 254/1 in 30.5 overs for another 9 wicket victory.

Thatโ€™s 271 runs without being dismissed across two consecutive successful run chases for the skipper.

The 2nd XI have already secured promotion to Senior Division 3 for 2027 and now need just 2 points from their final two games to be crowned CCA Junior Division 1 North Champions. ๐Ÿ†

Our Charity Cricket Match & Family Fun Day gave us plenty of moments to remember but Charlie Fellowes certainly stole the show! ๐ŸŒŸ

Charlie collected the Man of the Match trophy, proudly sponsored by Seed Renewables after producing the remarkable figures of 6โ€“64 including a hat-trick ๐‘จ๐‘ต๐‘ซ four wickets in four balls!
