Ever had one “bad” meal or missed a workout and felt like you’d ruined all your hard work?
Well, you haven’t.
You don’t have to be working at 100% all the time to make progress. One bad meal, missed workout or off day doesn’t undo everything you’ve done.
Think of it like this: if you had one flat tyre, you wouldn’t go and burst the other three, would you?
Or if you ran out of toothpaste and couldn’t brush your teeth in the morning, you wouldn’t think ‘ugh they’re rotten now’ and not brush them in the evening would you?!
If you’re struggling to get it all in, lower the bar. A lot of people set the standard too high. A full hour at the gym, a perfect meal plan, 10k steps every day, zero treats. That’s not how my life looks and I’m not expecting yours too either.
Instead:
* No time for a full workout? Do 20 minutes.
* Can’t manage a cardio session? Go for a brisk walk.
* Didn’t meal prep? Cook one simple, balanced meal instead of getting a takeaway.
Progress is always progress.
It’s not about perfection. It’s about showing up often enough that healthy choices just become part of how you live... less guilt, more consistency, better results.
