This is just an example, of course.

👉 What I mean by this is that what you need to actually get strong and TONED is a solid, consistent training plan with progressive overload.

🥑 Aswell as well plenty of good food for fuel…

🙅‍♀️ Not surviving on low calories, training with the same weights for months on end and going into the gym jumping from one machine to the next without a plan specifically for you and your goals.

Pop me a message if creating the right plan for you is something you’re interested in. 🥰

When you keep trying to get toned but…

You’re doing YouTube workouts, classes, ab & b***y burners 🫠

Toning means building muscle. That toned/defined body you’re thinking of will come once you start lifting properly & consistently, 2-4 times a week.

Not from workouts with no progressive overload (pretty much every single class you’ve ever been to…).

All you need is the right tools and training plan to achieve the results you actually want but have convinced yourself it’s never happening because you’ve been trying for x amount of years.

Your sessions need to be efficient. Not just chasing the burn.

I’ve done enough classes myself to learn this the hard way - they’re not getting you anywhere. Not if strength, definition or body recomposition is your goal.

Whenever you’ve seen bodies that you aspire to, look at how they’re training. Weights. Everytime.🏋🏻‍♀️

Some advice if you’re a newbie 👇🏻

1- You do not need to workout every day.

➡️ In fact, that’s rarely beneficial for progress.
You will be surprised by how effective 2-3 sessions a week can be and how much progress you can make with that.

2- Your life does not need to revolve around how much protein you ‘need’!

➡️ The whole protein thing has gone mad. And people now worry about getting into fitness because they think it’ll all be too overwhelming because of things like this. Which is absolutely mental. A normal balanced diet should give you the protein you need - you don’t need to buy every product that has ‘protein’ on it.

3- You don’t need to be doing loads and loads of exercises in one session.

➡️ In fact, it’s not smart to. You’ll make more progress by repeating a few key compound moves and getting stronger at those overtime!

4- Real strength & progress is slow and steady.

➡️ I get it, everyone wants overnight results. Unfortunately as you well know, this doesn’t last and it’s certainly not sustainable, or enjoyable.

🫢 Why not, finally, give up all the fad diets and make a lifestyle change?
One you can stick with long term, that doesn’t feel like a diet, that won’t leave you feeling s**t throughout the whole process. One where you don’t get results then lose them when you ‘fall off track’.

A guide to simplify things. 🥑

We all know how overwhelming the nutrition side of things can get with the amount of information online, what you ‘should/shouldn’t’ be doing.

⚠️ Top tip: If anyone tells you you should or shouldn’t be eating something - it’s a lie, don’t listen to them.

There is not one rule, or any rules when it comes to nutrition. 👉 You just have to find what works for you.

So to help, I’ve created this to help guide you through:
