✨ Last week, our participants had a wonderful time sharing all about themselves! ✨

We started by creating "All About Me" wheels, where everyone filled them with their favourite things, hobbies, and fun facts. 🎨

Next, we made self-portraits and celebrated what makes us unique by writing down our favourite qualities about ourselves. 💖

To finish the week, everyone got creative with acrostic poems, using the letters of their names to describe their personalities and strengths. ✍️

It was fantastic to see everyone expressing themselves, building confidence, and learning more about one another. We loved seeing all the creativity and individuality shine through! 🌟

This week we’ve been crocheting beautiful sunflowers while learning all about gardening and how plants grow. 🌻🧶

As we planted seeds and explored what plants need to thrive, sunlight, water, soil, and care, we used crochet to create our own colourful sunflowers inspired by nature. It’s been a lovely way to combine creativity with learning.

Crocheting helps improve concentration, patience, and fine motor skills, while gardening teaches responsibility and an understanding of the natural world. Together, they encourage mindfulness, confidence, and creativity in such a calming and enjoyable way.

We love seeing our handmade flowers bloom while we learn how real ones grow too! 🌱✨

This week our particpants have been learning about photosynthesis!

Photosynthesis is basically nature’s way of learning ☀️🌱

Think about it, plants take in sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide, then turn it into energy to grow. They don’t rush it, they don’t overcomplicate it… they just absorb what they need and transform it over time.

Learning works the same way. You take in information, give it time, practice a little, and eventually it becomes something usefu, something that helps you grow.
So if you’re feeling stuck, remember: even plants need time, light, and the right conditions to thrive 🌿✨

Gardening gives young people the chance to slow down, focus, and feel grounded. It supports emotional regulation, reduces stress, and builds a real sense of achievement as they watch things grow over time! 🌱

Sometimes, the simplest activities make the biggest difference 💚

One of our amazing participants spent time giving Ham a good clean!! lots of brushing, care, and attention. He was looking absolutely spotless… for about 30 seconds! 😄

The moment he was let back out, Ham did what horses do best, straight down for a big, dusty roll! 🤦‍♀️😂

While it might undo all that hard work, it’s actually a great sign that he’s feeling relaxed, happy, and comfortable in his surroundings!

What a fantastic last week of term before the Easter break, our end of term overviews went out today and this is just some of ten feedback from our schools

✨ Recent feedback from schools we work with ✨

“X enjoys her sessions at the stables and it’s really helping her to find her true self again. Thank you for making X feel comfortable and welcome.

What a lovely report to read, and so encouraging to see how much progress X has made, particularly with her communication with the team.”

We are incredibly proud to support each young person on their journey. Seeing their confidence grow, and knowing they feel safe, valued, and able to be themselves, is at the heart of everything we do. 💛🐴
