⚽️💛💚 After obtaining promotion in 2016, we are now representing Wallsend Boys Club and play in the Premier Division of the NERWFL (step 3 of the women's pyramid). Wallsend BC Women became Northumberland FA County Cup Winners on May 12th 2017, after beating Newcastle United Reserves 3-0 in the final. We eclipsed that win in 2022 by defeating Newcastle United first team in the final by 2 goals to nil. in a David V Goliath setting it was our girls that deservedly alcame out winners. Cups: We will be competing in the SSE Women's FA Cup, Northumberland Women's County Cup and the NERWFL and NFL League Cup. We became the first ever senior ladies team to represent the Boys Club in their history..... though why have one team when you can have three. We soon realised we had the demand to create a reserve team with the future focus having a pathway for our junior girls teams to come through into. We then introduced JustPlay which was a fun environment to welcome new players to the game or get players back playing, this has created enough players to enter a third team into the County League along with players from our U18 team. Just Play sessions run on a Monday evening led by our reserve team manager who put this project together from 2 or 3 players to upto 30 players attending. We are recruiting for the 2021/22 season.
