⚽️💛💚 After obtaining promotion in 2016, we are now representing Wallsend Boys Club and play in the Premier Division of the NERWFL (step 3 of the women's pyramid). Wallsend BC Women became Northumberland FA County Cup Winners on May 12th 2017,

after beating Newcastle United Reserves 3-0 in the final. We eclipsed that win in 2022 by defeating Newcastle United first team in the final by 2 goals to nil. in a David V Goliath setting it was our girls that deservedly alcame out winners. Cups: We will be competing in the SSE Women's FA Cup, Northumberland Women's County Cup and the NERWFL and NFL League Cup. We became the first ever senior ladies team to represent the Boys Club in their history..... though why have one team when you can have three. We soon realised we had the demand to create a reserve team with the future focus having a pathway for our junior girls teams to come through into. We then introduced JustPlay which was a fun environment to welcome new players to the game or get players back playing, this has created enough players to enter a third team into the County League along with players from our U18 team. Just Play sessions run on a Monday evening led by our reserve team manager who put this project together from 2 or 3 players to upto 30 players attending. We are recruiting for the 2021/22 season. Following a historic season which saw the club reach the Adobe Women’s FA Cup Second Round Proper we are ready to go again — and we want ambitious players to be part of it.

What we offer:

• Tier 5 & Tier 7 football

• Genuine pathway between U23s and First Team

• UEFA A, B & C qualified coaching

• Competitive but positive environment

• Two training sessions per week

• Match analysis and player development

💚💛 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁

Mara Todoran

Our Gibraltar international, Mara joined us this season and has made a huge impact within the squad both on and off the pitch.

Technically outstanding, Mara is a player who can rival anyone when the ball is at her feet. Calm under pressure with a brilliant eye for a killer pass, she’s capable of unlocking teams in a moment.

Throughout the season she’s adapted brilliantly to the physicality of the English game, becoming tougher, stronger and even dominant in the air.

Mara scored one of the most important goals of the campaign when she calmly slotted home away to Wyke in the dying moments to secure our FA Cup Third Round Qualifying victory.

A player full of confidence and flair,
Mara has probably set the record for the most nutmegs in a season, although she’s been informed by the coaching staff that those stats don’t count for anything.
