Matthias Jaissle escaping some of the utterly bizarre post-Millwall negativity on socials (mainly X) after leading us into the Carabao Cup 4th Round draw and still being unbeaten despite the bigger picture of only being in the job for 6 weeks after a summer of upheaval.

The criticism of Jaissle's baffling (especially on X).

Of course our games haven't been perfect, I never expected them to be.

He's been here 6 weeks, lost 3 key players. He's working out things, experimenting, we're a work in progress.

We're still finding ways to win and stay unbeaten. I'm fully behind him.

Job done!

Joe Willock's goal helped see off Millwall at the Den.

Although they lacked creativity and a cutting edge, they still found a way to win in a gritty performance to continue Jaissle's unbeaten start to book their place in R4.

A frustrating half.

Dominating proceedings but our final-third quality is lacking. Most of our play is down the left but the ball or shot isn't there.

Willock's parried shot, Botman's header over, Schär's shot wide, Hall's shocked charged down, Ramsey over the bar and Murphy's shot are our best chances.

Millwall are gash and are only having attacks when we're giving it away via unforced errors. Horníček hardly broke a sweat. A couple of punches at corners and a header wide, that's it.

Ramsey would be better in a 10 and Pardo's directness would unlock them for me.

But we look far and away the PL team here. Our build-up play is very good. We just need a couple of tweaks and the final third quality and they're done.

The referee, as per, is bad.
