Creative Industries Forum - Thursday 27 September, 6.00pm - 8.00pm
I just wanted to let you know about the upcoming Creative Industries Forum which will be held in Space Bar next Thursday evening.
In association with NEPA (North East Publicity Association), Newcastle College School of Creative Industries will be hosting a Creative Industries Employers Forum on Thursday 27th September from 6.00pm until 8.00pm in Space Bar on the College Campus.
The idea behind the forum is to provide a platform and time to discuss, network, learn, exchange, support, and collaborate with creative companies and individuals across the north east of England. We want to gather practitioners across the full range of creative industry subject areas and potentially beyond to have the opportunity to meet and talk about a range of topics that are affecting how we work in an open and friendly atmosphere.
I will be doing a talk about the D&AD Education Network (www.dandad.org) and the benefits to both students and employers. There will also be a talk from ex Newcastle College student, Ray Watkins from George Bond Interior Design about his progression from college to work.
The event is free and open to both creative industry employers and students.
D&AD represents the global creative, design and advertising communities and celebrates brilliance in commercial creativity.
