After being treat to a fantastic win and goals galore at the weekend in the County Cup, the RHF girls are back in Premiership action this weekend hosting Whitley Bay.

Whitley Bay are good friends of ours here at RHF. Ran by good management, brilliant parents & the girls get on great too. Not to mention they give us some great games of football that often go to the very end. The girls are due a Win after some narrow recent defeats in tournament football vs The Bay so this one is should be entertaining.

Good win for the girls today 👏

A great first-half performance. I thought we were the better team, pressing and working hard throughout the half to win the ball back at every opportunity. Some great individual goals from Beau and Emilia topped off an excellent first half.

In the second half we let Brandon come into the game more and switched off twice to concede two goals. But the girls didn’t let their heads drop. We continued to create chances, kept up our attacking threat and scored another two goals to finish the game strongly.

Some great performances again today and another tough choice for Player of the Match. The Brandon coach chose between Nieve and Lucy 6.

She was a constant threat on the left wing, with her skill and ability to cut inside and go outside causing havoc for their defenders.

Whitburn & Cleadon Lionesses 0–5 Redhouse Farm Jaguars

What a brilliant all-round performance by the girls today against a good Whitburn & Cleadon team. 👏

The first half was quite even with both teams playing some really good football. Emilia’s goal settled us down, I thought and from there we started producing some great attacking football. Ruby hit the post twice before our persistence finally paid off, with Amber getting a goal right on the stroke of half-time. ⚽️

Second half we stepped up another gear! 💪 The girls were dominant throughout with a quick goal from Ruby giving us a great start. Our confidence grew which helped us produce a brilliant second-half display. The pressing and link-up play were amazing with Amber adding another before Ruby got her second late on to finish the game off.

It was such an all-round team performance. Stas was our safe pair of hands in goal, while the defenders put in a solid shift to contribute to a fantastic clean sheet. The midfielders were full of energy and produced some great link-up play, while our attackers looked dangerous with every attack.

Myself, Andrew and Simon just couldn’t choose a Player of the Match — it was such a tough call! Thankfully the opposition coach helped us out so a big well done to Lucy 6 for being named Player of the Match! 👏🏆

Well done to Whitburn & Cleadon for not letting their heads drop and battling right until the end. 👏

Another great performance girls. It’s brilliant seeing you support each other on and off the pitch 👏
