We take on West Moor & Jesmond AFC from the league above us. Hopefully we will have some of the lads that have been unavailable recently back and available for selection.

This is one that really hits home for us as a new squad. The new management team took over this season with the focus of blending kids from the junior section into the reserves and give them a platform to succeed once they finished their grassroots journey. Within 8 games of the season we have struck gold and made us very proud of this player. Cavan came to us as a 16 year old who came through the Newcastle Benfield Juniors FC conveyor belt having spent last season away for the club.

Congratulations to Cavan Loane who at 16 scored his first goal in our game against Stobswood on Saturday in the The Northern Football Alliance Div 1.

This is what this team is all about with over 65% of the players in the squad coming through Benfield Junior section over the years.

We are proud to announce Mason Linstead as our player of the month for August. It’s Masons first season with the reserves after playing a few years for the juniors. A fantastic start to his senior career and in doing so pulled of some remarkable saves to help the team out.
