Welcome to the official page of Newcastle Emlyn FC Juniors! We’re a volunteer-run grassroots football community for boys and girls aged U6 to U14, based in the heart of West Wales. ⚽🔴⚫ A NEW SEASON STARTS HERE! ⚫🔴⚽

The 2026/27 season is getting underway at Emlyn Juniors FC and we’d love to welcome some new faces to our junior teams!

Whether your child already loves football, is looking for a new team, or simply wants to come along and give it a go, new players are welcome. 🙌

Our training times from 2 September are:

⚽ U6s
📅 Wednesdays
⏰ 3:45–4:30pm

⚽ U8s • U10s • U12s
📅 Wednesdays
⏰ 4:30–5:30pm

⚽ U15s
📅 Tuesdays & Thursdays
⏰ 4:00–6:00pm

Football is about so much more than the game — it’s about making friends, building confidence, keeping active and being part of a team. ❤️

So if you have a young player who’d like to get involved, come along and give it a go!

The countdown is on! Our U15's pre-season training starts tomorrow, and we're looking forward to seeing both familiar and new faces back on the pitch.

Whether you played for us last season or you're thinking of joining a new club, this is the perfect opportunity to come along, meet the coaches and get involved.

⚽❤️ Best of Luck, Tyler! ❤️⚽

Everyone at Emlyn U14s would like to wish Tyler Hoyland the very best of luck as he begins a new chapter with Carmarthen Town FC.

Tyler has been a fantastic part of our squad, and it's been a pleasure to watch him develop as both a player and a teammate. His hard work, commitment and attitude have been a real credit to the club.

While we're sad to see him go, we're incredibly proud of everything he has achieved and can't wait to see what the future holds for him.

Good luck, Tyler. Keep working hard, enjoy every minute, and remember you'll always be part of the Emlyn family. ❤️⚽

What a fantastic weekend for our juniors at the Aberaeron Junior Football Festival 2026 ⚽️❤️

Our Under 8’s were absolutely brilliant throughout the tournament, showing true teamwork, determination and sportsmanship, finishing the weekend with an amazing record of 3 wins, 2 draws and only 1 loss. We are so proud of every single player.

Our Under 14’s also had a fantastic tournament run, battling their way all the way to the finals and finishing as worthy runners up. An incredible achievement and a team effort to be proud of.

A huge thank you to our hosts Clwb Pel Droed Aberaeron Football Club for organising such a great weekend of football, and thank you as always to all of our players, coaches and parents for your continued support and encouragement throughout the festival.

A huge thank you to Val at The Bunch Of Grapes, Newcastle Emlyn for their continued support of Emlyn Juniors by kindly allowing us to use the venue for our fortnightly bingo nights. Your support really does make a difference and helps us continue raising valuable funds for our junior teams ❤️⚽

We would also like to say a big thank you to Riverside Health Shop for generously donating a wonderful voucher prize, your kindness and support is hugely appreciated.

🌸 Spring Family Fun Day – THANK YOU 🌸

Despite the challenging weather (and those gale force winds! 💨), we are absolutely delighted to share that our Spring Family Fun Day was a huge success!

In just under 3 hours, and with over 80 children taking part in our Easter Egg Hunts, you helped us raise an incredible £500+ for Newcastle Emlyn Juniors Football Club ⚽💛

Today we celebrate International Women’s Day and recognise the incredible role women and girls play in football, both at grassroots level and on the national stage.

At our club we are proud to have girls pulling on the Emlyn shirt, women helping coach and support our teams, and volunteers who give their time to help our club grow. Your passion, dedication and love for the game inspires the next generation of players every single week.

We are also incredibly proud of our amazing Wales Women’s National Team, who continue to inspire girls across the country to believe that football is for them too.

Here’s to all the women and girls who make football what it is — on the pitch, on the sidelines, and behind the scenes. ❤️⚽
