🌟 Huge congratulations to our fabulous LRC One Day Event squad who headed to the BRC Area 22 ODE at Auchlishie! 🌟

What a day — super results, big smiles, and some seriously classy riding from our team.

💛 90cm Class

Charlotte Nevison continues her incredible jumping streak, flying into 5th place

Laura Mitchell pinged her way round for a brilliant 6th

💛 70cm Class
A seriously competitive section — and our riders rose to the challenge:

Laura Mitchell only went and WON it! 🥇

Katie Frame took a fantastic 6th

Beth Fuller secured a lovely 9th

Not only did they all bring home ribbons…
🎉 The “A&E Specials” team have QUALIFIED for Banbury!!!
We are buzzing for you — what an achievement!

💛 60cm Class

Emma Orr delivered a strong, polished dressage test before having to withdraw ahead of the fun phase 😉
Still loads of experience gained and we know she’ll be back for more.

💛 And last but absolutely not least…

Elaine Reid — the glue that held the whole squad together.
She gave up her entire day to chef, support, organise, and then stepped in to help the Area 22 team steward the dressage like an absolute champion.

Angela Still who also gave up her entire day to jump judge to allow the teams to complete!! Thank you!!

We appreciate you more than you know!

A huge thank‑you as well to Area 22 for a super fun, relaxed day out — brilliant atmosphere and brilliant people.

We could not be prouder of every single one of you. ⭐🐴

For anyone still buzzing from camp and already craving your next adrenaline hit… your moment has arrived!!

Gemma’s Cross Country Clinic at Totleywells is open for entries!

Group sessions are 90 minutes (3 riders)

Totleywells Technical XC boasts 31 jumping elements from 40cm to 1m — skinnies, banks, ditches, water splash, barrels, pigeon feeders, sharks teeth, tiger traps and a whole load of Jump4Joy portables.

The course, designed by Gemma Kennedy and David Gatherer, flows beautifully with technical lines that let you build confidence element by element before stringing it all together. Most fences sit in the 60–90cm range, but there’s something for every level.

Friendly, supportive, and guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Come join the fun!

🐴✨ THAT’S A WRAP ON LRC CAMP 2026! ✨🐴

What. A. Weekend.
Lindores Equestrian has once again survived the full force of Lanark Riding Club, and honestly, we think they deserve a medal 🥇

A massive thank‑you to our superstar instructor trio:

🔸 Annette Dick – queen of cross country, confidence, and calmly telling you “just ride forward” while you stare at a fence the size of a bungalow.
🔸 Carol Stanley – polework precision, flatwork finesse, and the patience of a saint.
🔸 Richard Johnston‑Smith – show jumping wizard & cross country demon by day… life and soul of the party by night.
We still need to establish who is officially responsible for keeping Richard in check after hours. Applications welcome. Must be brave, fast, and able to distract him with biscuits 🤣

Huge thanks also to:

🔸 Eriena Photography– who put in more steps than half the horses, marching up and down that hill to capture every heroic leap, dramatic refusal, and “delete that immediately” moment. All photos are online!
🔸 Nicky from Back in Front Sports Massage – who powered through horses AND humans like an absolute machine.
(And yes, we now know the humans need a room too. Never again will a non‑massage person be left in charge of booking.)
🔸 Our organisers & helpers – the quiet heroes who keep the chaos running smoothly.
🔸 Elaine – who went above and beyond pulling together the awards AND the party bags… and who also kindly removed her terrifying hat cover after it sent several horses into a full existential crisis.
🔸 And YOU — our campers – the reason camp is always equal parts brilliant, bonkers, and unforgettable.

From the XC fields to the polework grids, from the late‑night giggles to the early‑morning “why are we like this” moments — you all made camp magic.

Thank you for the laughs, the effort, the spirit, and the full‑strength LRC energy.
