So today....

Rugby Gaels - Gaelic Football Team held their annual Michael Conway Cup and funday at Newbold-On-Avon RFC

3 of our Revolution 🔴⚫ Iveta, Gracie & Aylish were part of the Newbold On Avon RFC women's team along with Faye and Emma from Newbold Eagles

Well they only went and won the tug of war 💪🏻 after going 1 - 0 down they came back to win 2 - 1 👏🏻

Massive congratulations 🎉 to all of you!!

🏉 Joint Training with Coventry Welsh Ladies ❤️🖤

A huge thank you to Coventry Welsh RFC for inviting Newbold Revolution down for a joint training session last week!

It was a fantastic session, with the extra numbers making it really beneficial for both teams. Plenty of quality work, good intensity and, most importantly, a great opportunity for the players to train together and build relationships ahead of the new season.

We really enjoyed our evening with you and we’re already looking forward to returning the favour very soon! 👊

🖤❤️ CAPTAIN RETURNS ❤️🖤

We're delighted to announce that Jasmine Bhatt-Moses has re-signed for the 2026/27 season and will continue as Captain of Newbold Revolution!

A natural leader who leads by example, Jasmine has been a hugely important part of the Revolution. Since joining Newbold RFC at the start of last season she has become hugely popular on and off the pitch. She always leads by example in training and the whole squad looks up to her. She bought a wealth of experience with her having played for Malaysia at both 7's and 15's but despite this she is still keen to learn and try to improve her game even in the twilight of her career!

Her leadership, commitment and passion for the club make her the perfect person to continue leading Revolution into the new season.

Head Coach Nathan Bower said:

“Jasmine is a natural leader and someone who leads by example in everything she does. She has been a fantastic captain for us and embodies everything we want Revolution to be about. The fact she was a joint winner of the players' player of the season award back in May proves this. Her commitment, experience and passion are hugely important to this team, and I’m delighted she’ll be continuing as our captain for the 2026/27 season.”

THE BOUNCIEST 5K AROUND! ❤️🖤

Today, two of our coaches and six of our players took on the Inflatable 5K at the University of Warwick, all in aid of the incredible Myton Hospices 💙

Myton Hospices provide vital care and support to people living with a terminal illness, as well as their families, across Coventry and Warwickshire.

A huge well done to everyone who took part today and gave it everything. The team spirit was absolutely brilliant, and we even managed to cross the finish line together! 💪🏉

Let's start the weekend off with a bang! 💥🏉

We are delighted to announce that Emily Colman has re-signed with Newbold Revolution for the 2026/27 season! 🔴⚫️

Emily joined us midway through last season and very quickly made herself at home, both on and off the pitch. She settled into the club brilliantly, built strong relationships with her teammates and quickly became an important part of the Revolution family.

Playing at Number 8, Emily has all the ingredients to become a really exciting ball carrier from the base of the scrum, and we believe there is plenty more to come from this exciting prospect. 💪🏉

🗣️ Head Coach Nathan Bower:
"Emily is a really exciting prospect for us. She has settled into the club and the team incredibly quickly, and you can already see the potential she has as a ball carrier from the base of the scrum. With more time and experience, I think Emily can develop into a really important player for Revolution. It's also great to have another Leicester Tigers supporter in the squad. We might have to start a supporters' club at Revolution!" 🐯🤣

🔴⚫️ MILLY BLOOD RE-SIGNS 🔴⚫️

We’re delighted to announce that Milly Blood will be back with Newbold Revolution for the 2026/27 season! 🔥

A versatile utility back, Milly originally joined Newbold in 2025 as a touch player with the Eagles, having previously played at St Andrews. She soon became a founding member of Newbold Revolution, helping lay the foundations for our women’s contact rugby journey.

🗣️ Head Coach Nathan Bower:
“Milly is a really exciting player to have back with us for the season ahead. She didn’t get to play as much as either she or we would have liked last season due to work commitments, but those circumstances have now changed and she’s able to commit more time to the team.

“Milly has a lot of ability and is a really versatile player who can contribute across the backline. I’m looking forward to seeing what she can do with more regular training and the opportunity to string some games together. I think she can really progress this season and I’m excited to see that development.”

Today we celebrate our captain, Jasmine! ❤️🖤

A natural leader, a powerful second row and someone who leads by example every single time she steps onto the pitch.

Having represented Malaysia, Jas brings experience, passion and plenty of fire to the Revolution. But it’s her leadership, commitment and willingness to put in the hard yards alongside her teammates that makes her such an important part of this team.

From the front, or more accurately from the second row 😉, Jas leads the way and sets the standard for everyone around her.

Happy Monday, folks...

The good news keeps coming as we're delighted to confirm that Kelly Da Silva has re-signed for Newbold Revolution for the 2026/27 season! 🔴⚫

A versatile utility back, Kelly featured at both fly-half and wing last season, showing her willingness to put the team first wherever she was needed.

Kelly has been part of this journey from the very beginning, first as one of the founding members of the Newbold Eagles women's touch team in 2025, before becoming an original member of the Newbold Revolution squad.

After an injury-disrupted campaign, everyone at the club is hoping Kelly enjoys a healthy season ahead. With a consistent run of games, we're excited to see her build confidence, fulfil her potential, and make a big impact in red and black.

Head Coach Nathan Bower said: "Kelly is a player with a lot of ability and versatility. Last season was frustrating at times because injuries interrupted her progress, but every time she's available she gives everything for the team. Hopefully she gets the injury-free season she deserves because we're all excited to see what she's capable of."
