It’s Friday night under the lights!

Tomorrow night marks the first game of the season for Newark Town Ladies Reserves and our first ever fixture in Division 2 following promotion.

A new season, a new challenge and a great opportunity for the girls to get off to a positive start as we travel to Eastwood FC.

Our Ladies Reserves are looking for a few more players to complete the squad ahead of the new season 💙⚽️

Following promotion to NGLFL Division 2, we’re looking to add a small number of players aged 16+ who are keen to join a competitive, friendly squad and continue developing with us.

Whether you’re stepping up into open-age football, returning from injury, getting back into the game after some time away, or simply looking for a new challenge, we’d love to hear from you.

We are currently recruiting a Manager/Coach to lead our Ladies Reserves.

Following promotion to NGLFL Division 2, this is an exciting opportunity to help strengthen our player pathway and support the next group of players progressing through the club.

We’re looking for someone committed to developing the team, building confidence and helping players continue to improve throughout the season. The role will also involve working closely with our First Team Managers & Coaches to help create a clear pathway between the Reserves and First Team.

📅 Training: Tuesdays
⏰ 8:00–9:30pm
⚽ Matchdays: Sundays AM/PM, depending on the fixture

Coming off the back of last weekend’s FA Cup defeat, it’s a good opportunity to regroup, get another important 90 minutes into the squad and keep building towards the start of the league campaign.

OUR PLAYER PATHWAY IN ACTION 💙

On Sunday, we were absolutely over the moon to see two players who have progressed through our own pathway step onto the pitch for Newark Town Ladies in the Women’s FA Cup. 🏆

Grace Chamberlain started her journey with us in our Girls Development Centre and has worked her way through every age group before progressing into open-age football. To see her representing our Ladies First Team in the FA Cup is an incredible achievement and something everyone involved in her journey can be hugely proud of.

Kyrah Edwards joined Newark Town at Under 11s and has also progressed through the age groups, continuing her development all the way into our Ladies setup. On Sunday, she got the opportunity to make her own appearance in the Women’s FA Cup.

Both girls came into a huge game and did themselves proud. Well Done!!

This is exactly what our player pathway is all about- giving our young players the opportunity to develop, progress and ultimately represent Newark Town at senior level.

We’re incredibly proud of Grace and Kyrah, and equally proud to be a club where our junior girls can see a genuine pathway all the way through to the Ladies First Team.
