Masters Day 4 🌍

An exciting final day of the tournament at Briton Ferry! 🏆

The final winners of today were Czech Republic and Sealand, who took the Men’s 50s and 60s titles. 🏆

A huge thank you to all our members who have played over the last two days and then volunteered today, helping to ensure everything ran smoothly right up until the very end.

What a proud weekend it has been, seeing so many of our members taking to the pitch to play, coach, referee and volunteer.

It’s been an honour to support our Club Chairman Martin and the Community Reds.

Whether it’s been scoring a goal or changing a bin, we’ve covered so many different roles and made memories as a club that will last a lifetime. 🥰

We would also like to wish both our ladies, who unfortunately picked up injuries, a speedy recovery. 💖

Now for some well-earned rest! ❤️

Masters Day 3 ⚽️

Day 3 of the Masters at our home ground, Old Road, Briton Ferry — the sun continued to shine and the atmosphere remained amazing! ☀️

Alex Meah continued to represent the Cymru Dragons Whites Over 40s, while our ladies took to the pitch for Day 2, competing against England, Sealand, Ireland, Scotland and Celtic Nations.

Close matches throughout some wins but narrow losses which unfortunately prevented them getting to the finals.

The tournament continues today with the Over 50s and Over 60s men’s categories.

It’s your last chance to head down, soak up the atmosphere and see what walking football is all about! ⚽️

A huge thank you to all our club members who have continued to get stuck in and volunteer throughout the tournament while at the ground.👏❤️

Day 2 of the Masters at our home ground, Old Road Briton Ferry — and the atmosphere continued to be amazing! ❤️

A huge congratulations to our club member Alex Meah, representing Cymru Dragons whites Over 40s last night. 🐉👏

A huge congratulations to all our Over 40s and Over 50s ladies on their performances and results for Cymru Amanda’s Hi yesterday🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿. There was passion, pride, determination and teamwork from the first whistle to the last.

Masters Day 1 ⚽️

Day 1 of the Masters at our home ground, Old Road Briton Ferry — what a day, what an atmosphere, and what a club! ❤️

Congratulations to our club member Wayne Leach, representing Cymru Red Dragons over 55’s last night. 🐉👏

A huge thank you to all our club members who got stuck in with the volunteering roles.

And a huge well done to Martin, Stuart and Kevin. Seeing all their hard work come together for this fantastic tournament is incredible. 👏

Today, some of our ladies proudly take to the pitch, with the opening ceremony at 4pm, followed by kick-offs at 5pm. ⚽️

Alex also takes to the pitch for the Men’s 40s, with a 5pm start.

So head down, show your support, make some noise, and come and see what our amazing walking football community is all about! 🙌⚽️

The wait is over… the Masters World Walking Football Tournament 2026 starts today!

We’re incredibly proud to have 10 of our own club members competing over the weekend, representing the Red Dragons and Cymru Amdani Hi. ❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

It’s fantastic to see our members representing our club on an international stage, while a few more of our members will be down today volunteering at the big event.

A weekend of football, friendship, competition and plenty of memories awaits! 🌍⚽

🗣️A reminder we hold the live draw this evening for this years Masters World Walking Football Cup at 7pm, any residents or members of the community that have any queries, concerns or want to volunteer you can come and see us at Bar Red between 5pm-6.30pm.
🏆The tournament takes place at the home of Briton Ferry Llansawel AFC from August 13th-16th with teams representing their countries from across the globe for what is sure to be a special event for our Community☺️
