WEEKEND RESULT-

With only our 1st XI played. We travelled to Cowbridge Cricket Club . Season came to a close with us finishing 3rd in the league just missing out on promotion.

HUGE NEWS FOR THE GRAIG!

We are absolutely delighted to announce an exciting new partnership between Briton Ferry Steel Cricket Club and Padel4Pawb , which will see two brand-new padel courts coming to The Graig, transforming our old, run-down tennis courts and bringing another sport and new opportunities to our community.

Padel4Pawb, who have strong links to the club, are behind the venture, and we’re incredibly excited to be working together to bring this new facility to The Graig.

But their support for our club doesn’t stop there…

Padel4Pawb have incredibly generously donated the remaining amount needed to complete our £15,000 Crowdfunder target!

This means we have now secured the £15,000 match funding from Sport Wales, giving us the full £30,000 towards our Regenerate The Graig project! 🎉

We simply cannot thank Padel4Pawb enough. For a new local business to make such a significant commitment to the club and the wider community is absolutely fantastic.

The arrival of padel alongside the continued regeneration of our cricket facilities marks an incredibly exciting new chapter for The Graig. Our aim is to create a sporting and community hub that can be enjoyed by more people, more often, and for generations to come.

And, of course, a massive THANK YOU to every single person, business, player, member and supporter who donated to our Crowdfunder. Every donation, no matter the size, played a part in getting us here.

WEEKEND TEAM'S-

1ST XI are away to Cowbridge Cricket Club for our last game of the season. Tough game as both teams are in the race for promotion.

2nd XI host Llanelli Cricket Club at the Graig.

Hopefully the weather will be kind for us.

Bar at the steel opens from 1pm.

Following the cricket we have live music from Nathan Jones 🔥🎵
