Great team morning at urban battlefields for the under 13’s team. A free weekend away from football with players, families and coaches taking part in this team event.

Everyone kept their competitive spirit alive with the morning ending in a 3-3 draw with the reds coming back from 3-0 down to rescue it.

Played in great spirits, everyone came off smiling (think parents and coaches enjoyed it most 😁).

Great teamwork from the team leading and organising in a different setting !

County Cup second round.
Newport Pagnell Dev vs Mursley United FC Women

This week Mursley Women took a short trip to nearby Newport Pagnell in a County Cup clash.
A typical drizzly October afternoon heralded the arrival of winter and with it the usual Sunday afternoon football challenges.
Mursley made their now usual fast start with Ellie Thomas finding the net with barely five minutes played. A long afternoon lay ahead though as Mursley were now limited to just one substitute.
Newport countered and levelled the score, took the lead and then opened up a two goal advantage.
Mursley kept playing their game and despite a number of creative opportunities were unable to close the gap before half time.
Refreshed after the half time break, Mursley surged foward and scored a second to bring them within a goal but Newport responded taking the deficit back to two.
The next 40 minutes saw end to end action, Mursley hitting the woodwork twice and Newport failing to score as the Mursley defence held firm and cleared the danger time after time.
The end came, the score defiantly set. Newport the victors 4-2 over Mursley Ladies ending their County Cup hopes.

✨ Match Report – County Cup Progress! ✨

A dominant display saw Mursley United Women run out 3–0 winners against Holmer Green yesterday. 💪⚽️

🔥 Erin Walker stole the show with a superb hat-trick — a penalty, a strike from distance, and a free kick to seal the win.
⭐️ Player of the Match: Debutant Jess Piff, who was outstanding throughout!

Mursley controlled the game from start to finish and could easily have hit double figures if not for a brilliant performance from the Holmer keeper.

Mursley United Women vs Holmer Green Ladies

This Sunday, cup football comes to Station Road as Mursley United Women host Holmer Green Ladies in the opening round of the County Cup.

Mursley head into the tie on the back of a superb 5–2 league win at Banbury United last weekend, with goals flying in from Jade North, Brooke Burns, Erin Walker and Chante Carter. That strong team display has given the squad momentum and belief ahead of what promises to be a competitive cup clash.

Holmer Green will arrive looking to make their mark, but Mursley will be determined to defend home turf and progress to the next round.

Goals from Jade North, Brooke Burns (2), Erin Walker and Chante Carter sealed all three points on the road, with Ellie Thomas and Erin Walker named Players of the Match.

Two big games for our youth sides this weekend 👇

🔴 Mursley U14s battled hard but were edged out in a tough game against Towcester Town, falling 2-5. Plenty of positives to take forward into the next match.

⚫️ Mursley U13s came out on top in a thriller against MK Irish, securing a 3-2 win after a brilliant team performance.

Well done to all the players, coaches, and supporters – another weekend of proud moments for the club! 💚🖤
