Let go off negative beliefs and thoughts then your energy will change and then you attract what you want

Attract energy that is more important surround with people who match your energy and want the same

Embracing postive situations means you want to focus on the positives trying to come up with solutions instead of complaining trying your best to reduce and limit negativity will mean we will attract more postive into to are life

Monday reminder

Wake up today and remember your WHY
Why did you start this journey

To feel and look good
To become a better person
To improve your cardiovascular πŸ«€ health
To have more energy in what you do normal tasks
To improve your mental health
To improve as you age

These should be a reminder of to keep going

New week ahead remind yourself of this

Remember you are doing this for you
So you keep going and keep pushing forward

These mistakes is why your body will stay the same
even no your going to the gym or doing home workouts putting the work in, if you have been training for few months not seeing a lot of change in your shape

1️⃣ lifting the same weight same reps every gym session or workout each session/workout you need to lift more weight or reps and involve progressive overload you need to do more to change your shape

2️⃣ Inconsistent one week you are doing 1-2 sessions next week doing 3 sessions the next week 1-2 sessions the next week none as your off a few days of work decide not to do none then, this needs to be consistent same weeks for consistent effort for your body

3️⃣ Not pushing hard enough, in your workouts the last 1-2 reps right before failure there the reps the ones that stimulus for the body to change shape the funny faces you make the loud noises you make at those reps, you need to push every single set you do throughout the whole workout every week

4️⃣ Just relying on fitness classes for motivation in classes you are just going be doing what is on the board what they give you even if it’s lifting weight, the classes are not tailered to you and your body they are tailered to a group, you are doing a bunch of random sets of exercises back to back and while completely getting you out of breathe and un recovered, classes are designed to have you dripping in sweat and to feel busted after wards but that does not mean good to build muscle

There is no progressive over load no program and injuries can happen but what I will say

Any exercise is better than no exercise if group classes keep you motivated and you enjoy them do them

But gym floor is a primary goal and better lifting weights or home workouts will be better to change body composition to loose fat build muscle muscle gains strengthbuilding

My meal prep this week in a calorie deficit that helped me loose 9 half pounds in my fat loss

Breakfast raspberry white chocolate baked oats

Lunch’s omelette veggie bake

Dinner chicken fried rice

MY OWN PROGRESS βœ‚οΈ

It started with from last September gaining near 15 pounds in a calorie surplus over near 8 months building phase was my goals and focus september - early may

Then next into a mini fat loss creating a calorie deficit over 4 weeks and 1 day just to feel a bit leaner and feel better in myself over summer with 9 half pounds down

What have i done to achieve my goals
πŸ‘‰ number 1 calorie deficit consume less calories than i burn
πŸ‘‰ number 2 protein making sure my protein goals are matched every day along with hitting my fibre
πŸ‘‰ number 3 strength training, i lift weights 5 days a week all year that is just the same
πŸ‘‰ number 4 my movements/steps ohhhh they increased a lot as energy expenditure up up up
πŸ‘‰ number 5 sleep rest recovery, now sleep is what i have to work on really hard as in menopause as a woman it’s not good but i keep working on it best as i can

My recovery is mobility and yoga i do on my rest days saturday and sunday every week that is good for my mind and body and now is just part of my routine now

My nutrition has to be spot on what I put in to my body i really focus on good food most of the time and good nutrition is key along with a balance of my favourite foods also

Day 1 i got stuck into my goals till that day it ended as i wanted this for me and i was prepared to work and the results at the end are always worth it 😊

How i guide my clients as there coach
what i repeat a lot to them, you can do anything you put your mind to be willing to work and the results will always pay off

AGE IS JUST A NUMBER

At 53 I’m fitter now than i was in my 20,s 30,s 40,s
and stronger

Also im in better shape now in all my years also

Slow down who says
All to do with your mindset

Believe your slowing down then you will become that
Believe anything is possible then you become that

The end of my 8 month calorie surplus building phase
15 pounds gained

Then into a calorie deficit coming to a end now of this goal
